I easily lost interest within the first 3 minutes. There's just not enough to it.

An interesting game marred by horrible level design. The graphics are very Limbo-esque and the atmosphere is nicely done, but i'm constantly beinged puleed out of the experience when I realize I have no idea what to do. The controls while smooth dont compliment the level design at all leading to a lot of awkward and frustrating jumps. I hope to see more from you guys, but this one just didnt work out.
Perhaps I would have thought better of the games generally frightening atmosphere had it not have been for the ridiculously fast respawn speed. There would be points where my character would be standing behind a lantern and in less than 3 seconds after the last ghoul disappeared, another would arise. Other than that this game was very poorly introduced and given no tutorial whatsoever. The music was very nice but I was not able to enjoy it due to the poorly thought out gameplay.
idk didnt seem like very good game
sound was ok but the scratchiness made it sound worse than it already kinda did. animations arent that great, but its whatever bc the b&w makes it less obvious. it was dumb how there were hands and ghosts n stuff that floated around but if you hit them they didnt do anything...
furthermore platforming / control was mediocre, and i still dont understand what the point of the lanterns was
I gave it a star and a half for a nice concept. The level design made it pretty unplayable though. I got almost all the lanterns, then got lodged on a piece of scenery near the far right until one of those ghosts mercy-killed me. And that's after forgiving the annoying climb back up that pit every time I fell down.
