I loved Last Blossom, and I like this! While it's not nearly as deep or complex (which you did note), it is still a solid game.

Not bad, I like games like this that give that nice retro feel, so I'll look forward to the next installment. However, my finger is sore from mashing the s button for the boss. Different button for grenades next time?

Yup, we've listened to the reviewers and are adding a dedicated button for grenades and removing the need for button mashing to shoot (though you still can mash if you want to fire faster than the standard stream of bullets).
