Animations are really good, story and character wise it seems pretty promising!
the only problem is that the voices were a bit hard to hear.

I actually really like the animation style you have going hear. I love it when characters can have slightly out-of-proportion figures and still look legitimately realistic. It's the artistic people that can achieve that.

Geeze, it feels like forever since I could give something a decent rating on this site.
Anyway, you have an interesting concept, and I like your art style. Animation was good too. I think you may have to flesh out your story and characters a bit more. With the exception of the girl, everyone looked too similar, and I don't understand how the chess thing is relevant. I think if you improved your delivery a bit, it would greatly improve the cartoon as a whole. For example, it's clear you had a good idea with the quarky mobster group, but because their interactions don't really flow, they come off as being too static to appreciate. All said, I think you can make something really good out of this, so I'll be keeping an eye out for episode 2.
Very good esspically for a self taught animator, the thing that really annoyed me is i constantall had to pause and let the video load
looked like relatively high quality artwork, but the sound was very bad, and there wasnt much actual animation and alot of tweens, however whe there was animation it was also very good.
