Reviews for "Snowdrift"

A good game but i did run into a glitch unless that was supposed to happen. I skipped the tutorial cause i find it more fun to find things out on my own in horror games. Basically I was walking around in the dark and I noticed that my lantern was running low or rather I realized that my lantern had a meter. Luckily I was close to my cabin and it ran out the moment I ran into the cabin which was fully lit but when I was inside it was totally dark and I died... Interesting game you made

Placeable responds:

Hey! Its possible for the cabin to be completely dark if you do not pay attention to the fireplace. You will notice this as the light is gradually fading out and the animations on the candles and fireplace vanish as well as the fireplace sound.

You probably ran out of firewood in the cabin as you were outside in the wilderness at night. It happens. Not a funny thing to return to a pitch black cabin when you have low stamina, I can assure you :)

The torches outside of the cabin are always lit, this is intentional for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the review!

Nope, this is from Suikoden ^^

it looks like you used some sprites from a game called "wild arms" didn't you? lol- i loved that game!
anywho, i liked the survival aspect of this game, you nailed that part of the game, but it felt too slow for me for the first half of my playing of this- the second half was spent frantically gathering supplies before the darkness comes ^__^ but all-in-all i think it's one bloody hell of good game and that you got some serious talent! keep it up! can't wait to see what you come up with next ^__^

Nicely done, you used rpgmaker didn't you? I'm giving you 5 stars not for the game itself but for the hard work it implied (as a rpgmaker user I know how hard can it be to make everything work)

Placeable responds:

Hey!

I didn't use RPGMaker, I developed this game using FlashDevelop, the programming language is called ActionScript 3.0. I am not sure if its the same as in RPGMaker, never tried it.

But I do believe RPGMaker is more for .exe files, no?

one of the most thrilling games I've played on this site in a while, great game :D
