Reviews for "Snowdrift"

at the start of the game you flash a dozen little instruction screens. a game should do 1 at most at a time. otherwise you overwhelm the player.

sprite was too big and he didn't have diagonal movement animations (nor did his orientation respond to diagonal movement toggling)

art was good but the lack of music weakened it.

controls felt awkward. z and x didn't seem to have real clear and defined functions. didn't feel natural the way FF titles generally do. i think having the inventory be one of the "yes" or "no" buttons made it feel wrong.

Played until day 18 or 19 I think. Glitched 10 times at least which makes much more time-wasting in the end. Problem is, when in it knocked the third time, I didn't answer, and now, when I want to answer again, time freezes, I can't do anything or to make it back into normal except rebooting the game... And time freezes each time I want to answer, so I don't feel like playing again, even from the start.
Also, when you move in diagonal upon moving to another zone, you don't change zone but disappear from screen.
Also, when you want to light your lamp in the "flowerzone", if it's daytime, you reappear immediately in the "real world" at the place you where in the "flowerzone", and you can reappear behind an object, like a tree or house, and be stuck.
Also, could somebody upload on youtube the endings and walkthrough? I'm definitely NOT going to play again just to see this ending. I feel like I played an hour out of curiosity, for nothing. I'd appreciate to at least know what was the meaning of all of this, because the 3mn text in the beginning didn't bring up anything except exasperation trying to pass it on the second time I read it. (due to another glitch, it didn't save).
And yes, my flash player/firefox/etc is up to date, so no blaming the program, go back fix stuff.

wtf no pause button? apart from that the game is good

Excellent!, so creepy! I hope you make a few more like it. The sounds and nightmarish imagery really enhance the creepy vibe.

I like how Nattramn pops up when you lose.

I have always been a fan of games like this. We need more psychological horrors.
