OK, don't know is it's too soon, but its really important to me.
So, started the game and really liked id, didn't encounter any serious problems (except the random fight wile remainign still, kinda annoying...). But still i had to stop playing, although the graphics are wonderfull and i like the athmosphere. The reason is: From the moment I entered the second screen in ...... Forest (the first one, y'know...) ... i couldn't enter the menu anymore! Which means: no possibility to change eqquippment, watch skills, usi items (outside of fights of course) and, what is most important: To save! Therefore i stopped because, to be serious, some moment i have to sleep or so or i'll loose a battle and then it'd suck. So, if someone else is encountering this problem too, you should really fix that because the game itself is pretty good.

Hyptosis responds:

That is a pretty weird one, did the menu button just not work, or was it missing? Had you entered the menu before and then closed it? Did the menu ever work. Did you try loading the game again to see if the menu was working? Are you on a mac or a pc? Thanks.

Well, here it is. I've waded through the entire game, I'm at Vineth, and I keep throwing round after round of attacks at him. He just stands there with his werewolf gloves on. No counterattack, no nothing. WTF??

This was a good game, but it lacks many of the things that make a good RPG. The story is short, I beat the game within an hour. The game is also really easy. The last three bosses were either bad programming or bugged because a Sackman used Slapchop once in the battle with Vineth and then no one else attcked me for the rest of the battles. Also, the game isn't interactive enough for an RPG. Most of the NPCs are useless, such as the dog. If you could come back after the game and help people out or do quests, I would rate higher. It's good for a flash game, but with the release of Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and the announcement of Epic Battle Fantasy 4, the bar for RPGs has been raised. It was good, but not good enough. Also, the music is really great for a Flash. Kudos for that.

I'm only one guy.

An ok time waster but I have some issues.

First of all, there wasn't any place where you can recover health and mana. All RPGs have one. An inn, a save point where you can heal.. things like that. Without it I had no choice but to buy potions. I have NO idea how many potions I've bought and used for the game.

Next, the skills you put into the game were great. I loved the care put into the graphic of skill usage. Some games would just have the character perform the basic attack and add a little something extra. This one, however, had a different action altogether. My issue with the skills, though, is that they were so weak! The basic attacks of each character were WAY more powerful than the skills. There were even times that when I was facing 3 enemies and use a skill that targets all. But the TOTAL damage was STILL weaker than a basic attack to 1 enemy. So.. think on that a bit?

Lastly, there should be a back button. When selecting attack or when selecting a skill.. there HAS to be a back button. Common sense.

All that being said.. I still think that this game was pretty ok. The story wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. I think that if you came out with a part2 of this game and fixed all these issues I would definitely love the game. Put a little more substance into the story and I'd probably even buy it. So.. good luck to you and I look forward to seeing another one.

Okay, three bad things:

If you freeze the enemys, they wont unfreeze. Fjor kinda has the unltimate nutcracker with that skill. Thats uncool isn´t it?

Then their was the point against the bard, as I said to myself: no freezing him here, I will fight fair, (i just froze one of his puppets) but he decided not to attack my for himself!! WTF Why did he do that?!

Also, the story is ... reaally ... flat. Good begining, but making a story deep should be the simplest thing, you just put characters together and meore interessting dialogs and backgounds.

Additionally I froe wo times. Dunno what I did before. sorry. Maybe it was sumthing about the savepoint

Consider these points. Over that: It was funny enough for me to finish it at least. Take care!

Hyptosis responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to do better next time.
