Splendid!
The only thing this game lacks is a WAY richer environment (scenery, enemies, items), a little more refined challenge curve, and maybe a meaningless and random adventure story to go by, like having inns where you get to know more about a local conflict that slowly develops into a manhunt or saving a kingdom or something. Maybe adding ambushes, like assassins coming up from behind and stuff like that. Oh, and occasional treasure chests (locations that turn into random but high HP passive enemies that eat up a lot of lifespan to open). Maybe schools should be available to increase such skills too.
Wow, my brain's on fire from this! Now I need to compose some kind of heroic music to vent my inspirement... =P
The idea seems solid
The graphics are nice and the music is good, but the one-button aspect makes this more of a game of weighing pros and cons; "Do I buy the potion now, or the sword in two screens?"
The only problem is that it's too random. You can make smart decisions and lose the combat, or make random decisions and somehow win. I'm just saying it could use a little tweaking. Certainly not bad for an Idea in the making.
Unique Game
Overall the game was fun, challenging, and enjoyable. The only problem i had with this game was that gold gain from killing monsters was too low. Also it seems the medal 'Game completed' is not working.
