Reviews for "Samurai Vs Ninja"

Wtf???!!

A samurai killing a ninja this...is...impossible

reminds me or naruto

the style of it was very naruto kinda thing, and didn't have that epic feeling.

but DAMN the animation was good, and fight scenes were pretty decent. :)

Sigh

Nice flash bro, the animation is sweet but the sounds a bit clashy, overall very good job. And for all of you complaining about the samurai winning you may want to learn a bit about actual ninjas. "ninjas" were just farmers in rural japan, watched over and ruled by samurai and their bushido code. This "ninjas" got their reputation because they use secret hidden passage ways and such to travel across the land out of the samurai's sight. so in all retro spec, a samurai will brutally mutilate a "ninja" in 0.5 seconds without a thought.

Actually...

Lineman and Chasio are both right and wrong to an extent. It all depends on how you view honor.

Samurai were bound to a code of Bushido, disobeying which would result in your death. They were known for sticking to this code as diligently as can be, rising from sun up, sticking to one task a day and doing that one task more effectively than anything else, then sleeping and rising to do another task the same way. A lot of samurai took up artistic hobbies in order to give them refinement, such as calligraphy and ink drawings.

Ninja were not the cold blooded killers they are known for. They were just trained to do so. Just as Samurai were trained warriors, Ninja were trained spies. Ninja excelled in the art of shadows. That doesn't mean attacking from them, it means staying in them and gathering intel. They were accomplished warriors in their own right, but they were trained to be constantly on the move if spotted, thus their weapons allow for more range of movement, such as the Shuriken and Kusarigami.

The Ninja and Samurai were often on the same side, as they both could be hired for one country. The Ninja to serve as spies, and the Samurai to serve as the military or army. The use of such things began to die down near the 1100s, when early guns and long range weapons began to come into the mix. There are still some today that live by the code of Ninja and Samurai, and no, I don't mean weeaboos who want to be the person to being back those old ways and be revered as the person who is the fusion of east and west. I mean actual people in Japan who live by these ways to this day.

Nice flash by the way. The still drawings weren't all that great, but the animation was very well done.

Awesome.

Goes fast enough to feel real, but still slow enough to enjoy the action.
