Reviews for "Project Flame [demo2]"

So far so good

This demo is cool. The control keys aren't very intuitive but it's easy to get used to them (also, I saw a "controls" screen, maybe they can be changed from there). Also, it's cool that if you're firing left and move right, you don't begin firing right but move backwards instead, which allows you to keep killing the bad guy.
There are only 2 things I disliked:
1) There's no quality control, and the game performance is a bit laggy.
2) This demo ends too soon! Please continue it if you can, it looks like a very nice project.

BTW, in case you continue it, how do you plan to make it fit Newgrounds? Maybe you have to change the image format, for example to vector image, or PNG with less colors. Or use an external page (or, if the game succeeds, maybe you can ask NG to allow you to submit a bigger file)

interesting demo, def needs alot of work though.

The game is ok

a bit hard but good looking.

Thing is, it's heavily storydriven and the inspiration from dead space is terribly obvious from the first time you see the character's weapon.

Gameplay can be recycled, stories should not.

Good game, would have been a higher rating but the flame thrower takes ages to break the boxes so it's an anti-climax. Cool game, nice flame thrower but you just feel let down by a weaker weapon, also I didn't use the kick once, couldn't see a use for it

Hmmm

The game does a piss-poor job of teaching you the controls (and by that I mean that you have to *guess* every control unless you checked the options before you started) but other than that and the poor grammar, this game is coming along nicely! Nothing that can't be fixed for the final version. :)
