Really good game

The art looks professional, but the controls are a bit of a drawback. I like games with as few keys as possible. The jump should have been the up arrow and the release should have been a double-tap of the fire button, like GammaFoxTBG suggested. The action key can even replace the kick, as the kick doesn't seem to be of much use. (Maybe the kick would be better if it had a longer reach, could damage boxes, and/or could knock the enemies farther away.)

And I may just be too uncoordinated, but there seemed to be a slight lag from when I pressed the jump key to when he actually jumped. Maybe that is intentional or maybe it's my computer, but I'd die alot when I'm trying to jump over acid--half the time, he'd just skid off the edge of the platform.

Pretty cool

The graphics are well drawn and engaging. The JPEG artifacts aren't too noticeable except on the trees in the background of the underground forest. Otherwise everything looks great. I might complain that the characters are a little too anime for my tastes, but that's just my own opinion. The music and sounds add to the tense atmosphere, which adds to the overall effect.

Gameplay is smooth and fairly intuitive. Using E to interact is a little cumbersome. I think W might be more ergonomic. I would like to be able to use at least one of the attacks while jumping. I don't know how important that ability would become in later parts of the game, but it seems like a pretty standard video game ability.

not bad

The games not bad but you guys should check your script. I saw some errors in the words. Some words aren't there to make the game sound a bit stupid. Graphics and movement/combat is great though.

saying you might choose a beta tester from all of us alot of people are gonna say something in hopes of being chosen, lol, but getting too the review

The mechanics are very solid, i enjoy the mix of combat and platformer, with a dash of puzzle solving, it's a good combination too make a good classic, which from what i know, this is so far. It's nice too have two med packs at the start, gives the player a feel of being eased in the action, of course the first fight is a little simple, that's a good thing.

Perhaps a defficulty setting would be nice, easy would be, normal amount of enemies, but they have less health and damage, normal is what you have it now... maybe a lil bit harder, and hard would be like, 1.5x or 2x the amount of enemies and you have less health, but it's a suggestion, and maybe little secrets here and there, not for in-game sake, but you know, achievement like things, such as 'you examined all the corpses, necropheliac' or, lol, something like that. honestly i can see myself playing this game through too the end a couple of times, the story line (altho just feintly cliched, earthquake, everyone is dead, and alien encounter, then again it's hard not too have it cliched these days) it's definitely a grabber, which makes me want too know more, ill be waiting, peace!

(note: i dun really care if i'm chosen or not)

Potentially one of the best Flash games ever!

A few things that could be improved:
Wooden Boxes should catch fire when hit with a flamethrower...They just kinda wither...

Grammar errors tarnish the game, which is a pity.

Why can't I shoot when crouched or jumping?

The character looks like Pico, which is really cool :D

Great animation for a game, but needs some work to be a final product. (No duh, it's a demo :D ) I really enjoyed the game, but was frustrated by things that really shouldn't have, or should be, happening in this game!
