Great

I got all the achievements and made it to top 40 on the all time list! Whoo! Great game. The biggest complaint that I have is that the recharge time goes up as you upgrade your energy reserves. It's back asswards that the more you upgrade, the more you are punished for letting your energy hit zero, because you are shieldless until your energy hits 100% again. I feel like it would be much better if the recharge rate from 0-100% stayed the same regardless of how much energy your ship can hold. Another thing that bugged me was that it got somewhat difficult to see your ship when the screen got busy (around level 20 or so). The ship should be more distinctive. Finally, I think that it would make more sense if you went straight to teh upgrade screen when you died, rather than going all teh way back to the menu screen. Not a big deal, but clicking through the instruction screen every time got a little annoying.

Otherwise, fantastic job. I hope to see a sequel, hopefully with more upgrades and enemy types and maybe even different ships to choose from.

Good timewaster

This game is fun. Gets a little old after a while, but good if you have some time to kill. The only major complaint I can give is that the instructions are very vague. It would be much easier to play the game if you were given a better description of what to do.

Fun game, but you need to be more wary...

The only issue that personally have with it is the placement of the bars. It's near impossible for me to keep an eye on my energy. The bar is so small and my mouse speed is already so high that keeping good track of your energy is impossible when you play a style where you're consistantly moving.

You should really update the game with an option to add your ship's bars to the bottom of the screen so its actually possible to pay attention to your status if you have a fast-paced and extremely hetic play style. I lose all my energy way more than I know I would lose if I had bar on the bottom of the game saying how much Energy I have.

the best i've played of its type

if you added powerups or something similar then you would have it all, you got the cool music, the weird computery voice, you can buy upgrades, and its actually challenging! graphics are also surpsingly good. well done

The game has style

A carpet fire game based around taking bullets to the face.

Thats a difficult adjustment when youve been doing it the normal way for years on end.
