Professional scripting, amatuer scenarios.

It goes without saying that the game's scripting is far above what I would expect on Newgrounds (no offense to others). However, the combat system alone isn't worth having to listen to the dialogue. It's not that the voice actors are bad... it's that the lines they speak are as appealing as a bad fan-fic.
Aside from the lack of artistic inspiration, the sounds are appropriate, the graphics, though they seem a bit disjointed (Main character face vs. 1st Summon face), are certainly acceptable, and the combat, as a whole, is impressive.
Some improvements are needed, but with your technical skill, I doubt the lack of them will drag your projects down too much.

somewhat polished and good

problem is. everything in the background and foreground and everything that is relevant or irrelevant has the same sharp contrast.

it makes the screen appear cluttered and confusing.

games like world of warcraft tend to try to recede irrelevant and background terrain/objects/etc. with fading and color filters so they don't stick out as much.

this game sorely needs that then it would be a really enjoyable experience.

great

but how the hell am i supposed to beat the giant yeti? the dificulty rises exponetially between each battle, its ridiculous
if the difficulty wasnt so exponential, youd get a ten

It's enjoyable, but...

there needs to be a way to build them up before sending them into some of these fights. Definitely more customization with -how- they're built.
I don't see the pc's attaining any crits so far... maybe I haven't seen it yet? I've surely seen enemies crit the crap out of my guys, effectively descimating my party.
I know it takes a lot of effort to make games in the first place; however, I think one final revision might be in order to push some replay value here. As it is, I'm not sure if I want to keep slashing away at the same fight for twenty tries straight.
There could be items/abilities to regenerate the MP of a character too. Getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter by a green puma repeatedly because I keep running out of MP? @#$$@#^!

I -DO- like this game! But there's room for improvement. Maybe I'm stuck on FO3 and "standard" RPG's.

P.S.: So I've only played for 1.5 hours... I don't like having to immediately resort to outside guides before I've even made my first attack... I'll read it in the morning, after work.

not bad

the game was noy that bad
