Blown away.
You did a fantastic job on this game. I only played it for a little bit, but I have added it and will definitely finish it. You really pulled off the old school feel.

Yes, I should have noticed something those hundreds of times I playtested it, when I couldn't get past that bit and didn't know why. If only I was more observant.
great, but a few things
The game is really good, and it brought back memories of the insanely hard megaman games on NES. Its definently tough, but I think its stupid to give a game a bad score based on difficulty. I made it to the boss, don't know if theres more after that, but I wish there would have been a purple checkpoint before the boss room, because I got toasted, and didn't have enough lives to really learn his patterns well. I think the next ones would be good if you add some item collection similar to metroid, and mabey the ability to gain xp, and level. Great game, I love old school platformers, even if they frustrate me.

really like the Style. The main character looks badass, I really like that you have a choice in using a sword or the blaster. my patience kinda ran out before I could finish it but maybe on another occasion. The music is freakin awesome!
