Reviews for "Haven't Got A Prayer, pt2"

NICE

This is pretty funny! It kinda pokes fun at the idols that we think we should own. Jesus would prolly be sick if he saw a room full of crosses!

Very nice animation, and the lip sync was pretty nice. Good job!

Slackman responds:

Glad you liked it! Keep an eye out for the rest of the series.

Haha

Clever ending :)

Slackman responds:

Thank you!

You have big brass...

...courage.

The animation was cartoony, which isn't a bad thing as long as it fits your theme. The characters were simple yet consistent, and I feel that consistency rules over complexity any day. The audio quality of the voice acting wasn't the best, but I would guess it was the mic because the music was as clear as a bell. And I have always wondered what Jesus would think of the crucifix. I mean really, what a morbid symbol of love and light.

Animation: 10/10
Sound: 8/10
Humor: 9/10
Overall: 9/10

A fitting successor to the first installment.

Slackman responds:

Big brass courage, eh? I like it!

I guess I've got to get a new microphone, this seems to be the underlying theme in these reviews. Thanks for the help, and I'm glad you liked this one. Keep your eye out for the next two!

@TheSaylesMan

It was funny and you are just one of those religinous kiddos who cant take jokes like those who are also so fucking true. Go in some Corner and cry, but dont comment on a funny flash, that it isnt funny!
Oh and btw. the flash was very funny, in the end i had to laugh real hard when they took his 2nd death as a religious symbol again :).
Overall its a 9/10, because the voices were not satisfying.

Slackman responds:

Again the voices... I've really got to work on that.

If at least one person found it funny, then I've done my job.

hm..

The humor was a blast up untill jesus killed himself. That much was to self contradictory to the fact that "suicide is amoung the unforgivable sin". But you spun it around and saved the day with the new image replacing the cross in the church, throwing in the point.

-1 star for jesus suicide, but +9 stars for displaying the faults of sheeple.

Slackman responds:

I did realize that suicide was an unforgivable sin (he does make a remark to that effect), but the cartoon just wouldn't have worked without it. It needed something dramatic to reinforce the point, and having Jesus commit an unforgivable sin in response to all the hate carried out in his name seemed like an original way to do it.

I'm glad you liked it anyway though!
