Ummm...
To me it seems that the film makers were trying too hard. Over the top yelling, yelling for no reason just didn't make any sense to me. I honestly didn't find this very funny. There were a couple of parts that were, but not too many. The video started off serious but then jumped into absolutely bizarre.
Well, the voice quality for the screaming makes it kind of hard to understand and we should have that problem corrected for Episode 2, sorry you didn't find it very funny. It isn't JUST a comedy though, the plot is actually well written and more amazing than you can tell from the first episode. Thanks for checking it out though

Interesting you mention Rugrats, I've never thought of that, but I see where your coming from. We were most definitely inspired by all sorts of anime during the process of making this cartoon. Hope to see you back for Episode 2! And thanks for the good score!

That was so tongue-in-cheek over the top! Entertainment for the whole run. Bonus points for all the 2d fighter references, esp. Ryu's SFII music!

But some scenes pause for no apparent reason. Of course you did it on purpose but why? Like how sometimes after a non-dramatic dialog the characters just stand around for awhile before the next scene. its not much of a big deal but it accumulates after awhile.
I really apologize for that and it's still a mystery so far to us here at Taco Buttfish. Some people say it does, while others don't. I have a sneaking suspicion it is dealing with the scenes and loading from one to the next and bandwidth of source file with it being so large. Anyway, hopefully that will be solved by the time we launch episode 2! See you then!
