Ya, I generally believe that the religious right is a lode of shit and that conflicts founded on religious beliefs cause allot of harm that they shouldn't but your message is a little strong handed, you come off very angry, If you wanted to say something like this then you should have quoted someone "like this mushroom clock you talk about" and then point out conflicts caused by religious beliefs. Secondly if everyone were atheist then the world would not be all ok because I know this one kid who is atheist and he is one lousy asshole. Thirdly the last person to review was right "trust me, I’m an IB student with a thing about history" the Nazis weren't basted on religious beliefs, in fact there is documented evidence that Hitler was planning on instating a Viking like religion after he had conquered Europe, but he was wrong on one fact, the Byzantine Empire was not Jewish.

I am not giving it a bad review because I am religious, I am a die-hard atheist and believe that the obliteration of religion will be a quantum leap for human soceity, it is because it shoddily made, with inaccurate information.
First, you focused your entire argument on the bad effects of religion, not why it is not true.
Second, the pictures were heavily pixelated and streched, the backround was non-existant, and a photograph of Adolph Hitler would have looked much better.
Third, you only mentioned the physically destructive effects of religion, not the mental aspects: millions of young impressionable minds being corrupted by the drug of religion.
Fourth, some of the statistics were inaccurate and just to be safe
you should mention that in that kind of turmoil, accurate records are not kept and that many more people might have been killed.
i.e. Joseph Stalin might have killed 66-??? million people, but some put as low as 4 million.
<MOST IMPORTANTLY>YOU DID NOT MENTION HOW RELIGION CAUSES THESE THINGS TO HAPPEN:FAITH WITHOUT RATIONAL JUSTIFICATION.
I recommend you read one of Sam Harris's or Richard Dawkin's books if you are interested on this topic.
Could have been done SO much better
I'm not giving this a bad review because it's done by an athiest, I've giving it a bad review because it was boring.
The author obviously had a message to get across, however, it was shotty and shady at best. Getting people to go, "I think I know what you mean..." is not a way to get people to think.
The information passed off as "fact" in this movie is open to major counter points, but seeing as the author wants nothing more than to get those athiest, who cannot seem to use proper grammer when blamming those who believe in a higher being, it is pointless to mention them.
There is more faith in believing in full evolution and athiesm than is involved in believing in a god. Athiesm is one of the most egotistical forms of beliefs there is.
Do not underestimate people...
Ok, I, too, am a bit of an aethist, but there is one little detail about the human race you're forgeting.
Even if we didn't have religion, people would just find a different reason to kill each other.
Yes, religion is a stupid thing, and it inspires nothing but hate for others, I'll give you that. But even if the world didn't have religion, it would still be a pretty shitty place filled with hate.
It would just be a different kind of hate, that's all.
