As certain others seem to have ignored, this is obviously meant to have informative value, not entertainment value. The flash's animation quality has little to no value in the judgment of this particular piece. So please grow up, you children.
This had a lot of interesting facts that I did not previously know, so I found it rather interesting and useful. Congrats on the front page, you deserve it!

I think i may have seen a small glitch on the guys mouth mid-flash where is ceased to move for a while but other than that.
The graphics were good.

Though somewhat entertaining, I have to admit this doesn't really fit in here. It is like a wikipedia entry but with a funny looking announcer and images cleverly placed as you hear the audio. What is this crazy flash you speak of? I only see Vidi-Wiki. Meh.
Now that was original
Its good to see some originality put into newgrounds(I'm not saying that there isn't enough original animations just that there are too many cliche`d ones). I like the fact that you are trying to educate the masses with a little history. Of course this does need improvement like the previously mentioned mouth and how it doesn't move, but also you can shake it up. Take for example the news, at first they show the news person then they cut to some footage of the scene then cut back to the news person and so-on. You could do that by showing the announcer and the little tv screen than go to full screen with the picture and back and ta-da you have just made it more interesting by shaking it up instead of just sticking to the same image.
