I kinda have to agree with Lazymuffin, is it really only 2 minutes? Cos I got bored just past the Atari law suit and closed it.
The animation is obviously very minimal, I thought the delivery of the information would make up for it, like in comedy value or something but no, the voice over is really slow and monotone.
As for "well it's informative" I'd rather read all the information on wikipedia or something than watch this, which is a shame cos there's some stuff in there that I haven't heard about before.
I don't WANT to slate this because it's good you're trying to make something educational, but it could be a bit more entertaining; this is just too much like listening to a badly presented lecture.
Jesus, this was boring.
Not because I know who made the first video game and the Video Game Genocide and so on, but the first 10 seconds were so low-quality and "LOL LOOK AT THIS DANCING HEAD TALKING ISN'T IT FUNNY KIDS XD".
There could've been something good I missed, so I looked pretty quick, but no. Dancing head, the whole flash animation.
Goddamnit, this is what I expect from a low-budget education video shown in schools, not from Newgrounds.

The amount of effort that went into this is embarrassing.
The intro promised nice animation with nice detailed characters, then when it started it was this blank emotionless character. It didn't move at all, so all you needed was to animate the lip syncing, which you badly.
at some points the mouth just hovers while he's talking.
All you did is make the background shiny and switch pictures once in a while.
I really can't consider this an animation, more like a podcast with pictures.
