Reviews for "Ge.ne.sis: Alpha Demo"

convoluted

how long does it take for a battle?
Interesting ideas, especially with conjuration and pretty swords,
you can't undo a movement? why cant you undo a movement?

Quite good

Quite good, nice graphics and i love RPGs, the tutorial was kinda good but boring, like all tutorials..anyways nice game i think this will really hit the spot i have just one question.
This looks like a real major project and you made a demo will you be releasing the full version or it will be something to pay for?hope not, cause i really like this and i dont have cash to spend on games :P,
anyways overall great project, gave you a 7 only cause its a demo with a tutorial only and tutorials are..boring :P

fairypoet responds:

The full game will most likely be free to pay, dont worry. Thank for the review.

meh...

it was alright... but it was too similar to pretty much every flash based rpg out there (admitadly made well) and of course the music was kinda annoying, need a longer loop and a music change depending on what happens?

bland at best

It would be a good game if it didn't seem to mimic all the other jrpg's that are out there. the whole, being there after dance practice seemed to copy one of the major plotlines from the game Riviera, that came out for the GBA. The only outlining difference with that game and this, apart from this being a demo, was that your main job in that game was to destroy the land that you came to protect and in this demo, you were brought there by the priestess

music.. just bleh

music just hurts your ears after 15 seconds of it. can't really stand it at all. need something more ambient. and the loop is far too short. but the main problem with it is the way it blares and stands out without being good enough to justify it.

the game runs smoothly and the graphics are decent though. i'll probably give this a more thorough playthrough with the sound off.
