Good Job, good job.
Good job, hate to sound like Hancock, but good job. However, this game could turn from a good job to a great job. All the major bugs had already been mentioned (save/load, crushing - hero struck after the first couple steps happened to me too) as well as things that need tweaking (user-unfriendly monster + trap system, traps need to be upgradeable, raid could and should run a little faster, etc).
After finish working on all of the above I suggest:
Smarter AI: Hero shouldn't head toward the same wrong path more than once; I had a hero killed by a single slime that way (walk in - walk out - repeat).
More control/interact elements during raid mode, for example, doors, bridges, ice floor, strong wind that blow the hero toward one direction - some ways to influence the hero's movement during raid mode. Be careful on the balancing issue if you decide to use this one.
Monster/trap exp/levelling system - don't you have a dream to grow an lv 1 slime to lv 99 and watch it kickass? I do. This would offer a different strategy in beating the game then adding more monster and traps. (Few strong monsters + traps vs. Massive amount of monsters + traps) Monster healing, trap running out/refill energy could also be considered.
Digging - it would be great if we could "un-dig" or fill back a square.
Anyway this game have great potential, and thank you for making this game - I had a lot of fun watching a thief disarming 10 traps in a row only finally to be killed by a lv9 trap. :D
