to amazing. almost as great as the comic.
Seems good
It is a solid idea, and in general its pretty good. However there are a few problems worth addressing. First off, the Rayne the you start off as looks squashed, I understand thats how its supposed to look but it also has an appearance of poor quality like when you squash an image. Secondly, the blocks you hit and recaive coins from just turn red afterwards, it's probably just me but it looks tacky and bad. On the plus side I love the whole parody of it. Coins are condoms, koopas are hobos and preists, those giant flytrap things are 'suck for a buck' hookers and the whole braman thing. Its great :D
Quite Promising
I love the comic, so when I saw a one-level preview of the upcoming game, I had to try it. While the controls could be more responsive, I quite enjoyed the references and overall style of this little teaser. It's nostalgic, reminds me of when I was young playing Mario Bros., beating my head against a wall while trying (and failing) to clear that gap for the eighth time in a row. Good times!

Pretty good.
Could still use a bit of work in a few areas, and a maybe a few things to make it feel like a new game on it's own, but other than that it's shaping up nicely.
I do really like how it has the references to the comics, such as Bra-man. Keep it up and it'll come out to be a very good game.
I think some of the lower scores are by people who are forgetting that this game is still in production, and this is really only a preview test. Great job so far.
Can't wait to play the full version!
