Graphics/Animation: 8.5
This certainly wasn't a flash with the greatest animation I've ever seen, which is what I base a perfect 10 score off of, but it definitely wasn't an "average" score either. To be honest your background was made simple, character drawings were simple, but you had some great details. What really impressed me about this flash was the fact that even though there was a lot of simplicity, you were able to convey the emotions of the characters in a very detailed manner. When Gary was asked what he drew, for a character with only eyes, you were able to show somewhat of an embarrassment emotion. That was great in my opinion. The character movement was another thing I scored you on. Pretty much the same as the embarrassment emotion - you did well with how the characters moved, it was very smoothly done.Not to mention you drew the grenade VERY well and very detailed. The little things are mainly what counts.
Audio: 10
This was a short movie so I had to go easy on the Audio score. However what I liked was the clarity of the characters' voices. When making a short and having speaking characters it's SO important to have voice clarity. Another thing you did well with was the sound effects, which are important in any flash no matter what type it is. The explosion wasn't some ellaborate sound effect, it was something simple, but got the point accross. Audio is probably one of the most important parts of flashmaking, and you nailed it down quite nicely here. Again, great work.
Originality: 9
I generally find it hard to grade originality when I don't know for sure how an artist creates their work, but I've yet to see anything with this sort of story on Newgrounds, which is what gave you most of your score. However I have seen this style of character drawing and backgrounds somewhere. It isn't a big deal because a 9/10 is a hell of a good score. Keep up the good work with making up new ideas!
Story/Humor: 8
It was a good, solid storyline with basically a good punchline that I'm sure no one was expecting. The story seemed fairly simple, but you got the point across, which in turn led to a funny ending. It wasn't a complete laugh out loud ending for me, but it was a good punchline that actually made me crack a smile. Not really all that much to say here except keep up the good work!
Overall: 9/10
A 9/10 score is a really good score for a short flash. It really takes a lot for a short movie to impress me, and I'm fairly harsh when it comes to giving out 10s because some of the scoring is based on my own preference. This was overally a really good short though. I was impressed by the way everything was set up and how the graphics and audio were simple yet effective. I've mentioned the simplicity a lot throughout this review, and don't take it the wrong way because I myself have no flashes, but it was a simpler look than something like "waterlollies" which is what makes me say "simple" so often. Hopefully you understand what I mean. Good luck with these flashes in the future, and I'm really looking forward to reviewing more of your submissions!

To comment on your "originality" section (thank for the 9/10 on that BTW) I understand that my characters are similar to other characters you may see on Newgrounds, but I try to give them distinct personalities, to help people remember my characters. I take pride in the fact that my cartoons are pretty original, and I thank you especially for noticing that.

Funny and short. Very nice flash.
The characters look a bit odd, but at least you have your own style for the characters. Not overused stick figures or some sort of locks/clocks/whatever.
The voice acting is done great. The voices are easy to understand, even without subtitles.
The story was short and funny and the ending gave me a good laugh! :)
I found one flaw in your flash: The "Play" button was only clickable on the text, not on the spaces in between the letters. Maybe you can change that to a "real" button to make your flash even better. ;)
