The dream is you and your confusion about life's meaning. I believe it's picture of where you feel lost and sometimes held back from keep on going, even though it is already hard.
I don't think the dream is meaning anything else than a picture of your own confusion.

Great movie
I'm not going to wright a long review. But what I is that you need something to do with your free time. Something to work toward. Maybe get out and just run to no-place in particular. I promise if you do that you will find the rest of your day turning out good. I'm no therapist tho.

you really have talent and eloquence of literature. I, a writer myself, can truelly say u r very inciteful and have inspired me. May that could be the meaning of your dream...Inspiration. Dreams are passages into our own mind, and it is always a journey to something greater. Follow the path, keep moving and never stop or be caught in nets of despair and confusion. let the thoughts of others fly past and only help as the rain. Find a subtle dwelling for yourself as the figure at the gate. Only then can you find peace. This is what I think
You will have a chance is some career, which one I havnt spotted, your running speed gives you the sucess of your job, as you slow down the job slows down, the nets represent a hobby or possibly a future that you go into sports, say tennis or volley ball, they could also be problems or obstacles trying to side track you that if you stop and slow down to mess with them, they will catch you in a net and keep you for a long time, think of these as.. addictions possibly. then you said you get to this gate, the gate may represent a safe place you knew you always had but when going back to it noticed it wasnt in the same glory as it was before, the old worn down building. Also normally the third person feeling is supposed to make you feel out of the situation and not controlling the scene, but you stated how you could feel the pain of you running, so this gets me thinking that maybe its telling you that you need to make more of your own decisions in your life rather than letting someone else control them, mind you life is a very hard trip and a long and windy road to go down and when you come to the end of it, it might not be what you expected.
