The anserw is sorta hard to say but I got it
Your dream is basically over emotions you feel like your a stranger to your self the dream must of been your way of escaping from the real world to avoid your shit hole life(Said in movie no offense). But also the volley ball nets are traps of hell step in to them your screwed. My idea is to find a way too balance your inner spirit(Chi) and find a way to take the Ying from the Yang. Just try too make the best of your life as you can man.

well for starters i believe your correct on the idea of the white figure representing you but i believe that instead it represents a part of you. whether this part is you is your will power, or some spiritual reprensentation of you, well your guess is as good as mine. now the "shadowy world" which you speak of could represent the real world and how its a dark cold place (cause the world isnt all smiles and rainbows it can be a @#$% hole). the "vollyball nets" may represent your fear of being caught offguard by the world and dont want to fall to it, this could be why there is multiple netsbecause the world trows many challenges at us everyday, and thats why you run so to not to be caught by the world. The burn that you feel from running shows your determination to beat the world . when you reach the "totem pole thing" this may be a marker of some kind to show how you did beat the world. The "crappy appartment thing" may represent your @#$%%y life and how even though you did beat the world life still kinda sucks but you live with that because in the end its better than being caught by the world. so concluding my thoughts this could be a repensentation of your daily life and that every day you fight the world to survive. hope my thoughts help you some way. later...
