100% ultimate good game.
Long road and barrels made for nothing are bad though. But the rest og game is excelent!
Oh, I almost forgot - dungeons are not dark. You would rather make them really dangerous.
And your game is TOO easy.

I waited a long time and...It was WORTH THE WAIT :D.
This series and mardek RPG are my favorite RPG game series on newgrounds and that's a fact ^-^ good job once again on making a fantastic flash game :o.

Amazing Game - Constructive Feedback for the dev.
Aside from the fact that this chapter still needs to be touched up (finishing the random dialogues, beastiaries, etc.), here are my other thoughts.
1) The game is awesome. I love this series and I love the story. Keep up the good work.
2) That said, the story in this one seemed to be lacking a little. Maybe the extra dialogues will fix that up. In particular though, Vick joining your party seemed to be explained a little hastily. I'd like more plot there.
3) The extra characters in your party are an awesome addition for battle dynamics. Well done.
4) I'm absolutely in love with the alchemy system. That was a very inventive and artful way to put a magic element into an RPG without it being stock-standard.
5) It was a little confusing with where to go at the beginning of the game. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any hint that the professor we were tailing went off to the West.
6) More journal entires would have been cool. They make for nice plot bursts and re-caps of what's happened.
7) I hate the level cap before even finishing the part with Vick. The monster at the end wasn't a problem at all though.
8) That's all I can think of for now, pretty sure I had some more though.. Feel free to PM me if you want.
I'm a little disappointed to see that Gustave won't be making it to the university (I had hoped to eventually see a fork in the game depending on whether you decided to study alchemy or archaeology...or something like that). But I'm interested to see where you'll go with it next. Best of luck to you.
