Small downgrade, too bad...
This chapter really felt like a downgrade on the previous two. It started with the mouse-clicking instead of using space bar. It didn't feel intuitive anymore. I was thoroughly annoyed when I literally had to chase a character to converse, but couldn't succeed because of the time that it costs betwee clicking and walking.
And then I walked out of the first city, and found myself on a large map. That could've been a good thing, if I had a map or some other way to show me any directions. After realising that some character was talking about going to the west, I decided to go there. I had to walk, walk, walk, walk, and then I found the city needed. But then the story changed perspective, and I had to walk the same route again...
The big city looks great with the steampipes and the broken windows. Inside the first dungeon I was thoroughly annoyed by all the dead ends. I had to walk somewhere on good luck, just to find out that it was the wrong way. In part 2 the dungeons were well-balanced and not too big, I kinda prefer that. They at least contained some chests if you walked inside a dead alley. I also had the feeling that the dungeons are much less exciting.
Another thing is that I just seem to miss any nice sound effects on some enemies.
Please do something with this complaint ( and that of others ), because this franchise is just too good to be spoiled.
