Reviews for "Max Mesiria Chp2 RPG"

simply the best

Just one word. AWSOME !!!!! Chapter 1 was great but this one is superb. I can't wait to see Chapter 3. You guy rock !!

love it

I love this game

surpassed expectations...

i still remember when mesiria 1 initially came to newgrounds and i was blown away... in contrast to all of the other rpgs on the site at the time it was a different breed...and mesiria 2 has improved upon its predecessor in a number of ways...
-length(this was a big improvement as in the last installment the game ended just as it was drawing you in total buz kill if you ask me...)
-an actual menu system showing current experience and the amount needed to be gained for the next level as well as stats etc(perhaps a slight inconvenience but in the long run a necessery component to any game of this genre)
-equipment/monetary system though preset this allows more of a sense of accomplishment than hey dead boss experience...yay)
-the simple fact that when speaking to npcs the content of their replies varies somewhat is a godsend...thankyou...brings ff1 to mind...
-various other goodies(shops,puzzles,etc.)...
meh...im lazy...

however there are some aspects of the game which could be further improved and as this is as yet a work in progress...

my two cents...

other characters, it appears as though you already intend to include these in the next chapter...just make sure the system is worked out properly for how you want the game...will it be like evermore where there is but one companion who at times is off on its own? or perhaps make it similar to saga frontier or seiken dentsu 3(sequel to secret of mana) encountering compatriars throughout the game and picking and choosing or in the case of the later doing the picking before the game even begins(this of course would require the chapters to be reincorporated into a singular game) however this is done i trust a developer of your calibur will do it in the most sensible way possible...

storyline-im aware that it is as yet in the beginning stages and simply wonder if it is even fully worked out as yet...but i suppose thats on a need to know basis...

monster graphics-not so much in need of improvent considering the rather astounding level their at now...but it seemed to me at least the quality dropped somewhat after the mines(pulses were incredibly well done) and i remember the first game the m...amajigs...upon first seeing them their quality astounded me...just saying there is some variance between the different creatures...

on a final note thank you for this game ive plyed more rpgs than i could ever hope to count and this is at least showing to stand up with some of the better of them...good job and keep up the great work

(scores were dependant upon things capable of being improved and not what i determined actual quality i gave you a 5/5)

Keep it coming dude!

Great game! Only I would like to see a party system and if you can give different weapons that bring to different stances like heavy weapons more damage but less aquarcy and small weapons (Rapier for example) fast aquarate but weak and it's hard to pierce through armor with them.
Also how about some team members and some elemental spells and some more specials that do more devastating side effects.
All in all for a sequel to a game that started right and seemed promising this is a perfect game that I will keep playing probably just because it's fun.

P.S.: Make the sequel fast because I can see the story unravelling which is a very good thing that I waited long for.

It makes me angry

Such great game should be like in the top 50, but I didn't know this existed till today.
It's really good, though you should have something like a "help" section in the menu or a tutorial on how to fight, because it's pretty hard till you get used to it.

also It would be perfect if the battles were less repetitive.

Other than that it's perfect. This game have that feeling of the good old SNES RPG's, can't wait for the next chapters.
