Key?
I fished the comments for hints, but all of them come up bogus so far. Between the red and green house, in or near a barrel. Well one has stagnant water, the other has "verifies something in it" but it is empty? No key appears in my inventory. I hunted all over for 30 minutes and kept clicking the spacebar. Nada. The author claims there is a sparkle, I see nothing. Waste of time. :\
i hate this game
Let me start with the back tracking. I really hated going all the way to the other side of the game for something that wasent there before. like with the wale oil, do you really think its fun to go back and forth over and over? and the battles were just plain garbage. over and over the same thing. the same difficult thing. i first tryed going into the mines with only the rusty reiper, impossible to beat no matter what. so i tryed going in with the steel reiper and leather braces. still died on the boss. if i can 70s only 2 times, he should be limited the same. the games not all bad though. walking thrugh the town reminded me of my final fantasy days, i seen alot of promise. just please, next time make it a little easyer with all the items there before hand such as in resident evil.

i gave up after half an hour of wandering around trying to find the key. right at the start...
The key is found in the west part of town, between the red and the green house. (near a barrel) It looks like a sparkle in the snow.
If you liked the first chapter then you should like this one even more so it's worth giving it a chance...

ummmmm.... really really really realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyy yyyyyyyyy hard to beat... youve succeded in difficulty but im personally too slow for this game :) pro gamers out there best of luck
