So Nice And Calm...

...Almost Makes Me Drop Tears Of Happiness... <;-)
...You Know What I've Found Out???
If The Audio Portal Front Page Were Updated Secondly, This Song Would Already Be In The Top 20... Lol.
Sweet Work Here Maestro. Of Classic Music, You Are Definitely The BEST.
Keep Up The Good Work(Like It Will Ever Fall Down ;P)
Goodbye.
Regards, Sebbeshs/Eyesealed.

MaestroRage responds:

LadyArsenic has a very intimate play between her instruments. Though few in nature, she holds together what few she uses very well. While I on the other hand, focus on a much wider spectrum to hold it together. I just can't seem to do what she does so easily.

If the top 20 updated secondly it would be chaos XD.

Thank you kindly for your warm words sebbeshs! we're glad you liked the track, thank you for the review!

Back into habits

Looks like I'll be reviewing consistenly again ^^, although I'm not sure how often I will have a story...

Anyway, this piece is..AWESOME, it's soo very soothing, and fills me with tranquility..and if I might say so, I could definately see this in an RPG (I used to play a few RPG's, not hugely mainstream ones like WoW though..more like the ones you get online, such as Silkroad (side note--Music in that game is also quite neat)).

As for the music itself..the..(i'm not sure how to correctly classify this) harp maybe? (of course it sounds like it's been tampered with, but a hard base?) is possibly my favorite part of the piece...(maybe even a plucked bass..).
Even though this exotic flute of sorts seems to be the main theme of the music...i just really must stress how much I love that background part..WOAH.
Harmonies are my favorite part in music.

Continueing..another part of the song that really amazes me..the melody..I swear never repeats itself..well to a full extent, they all seem to be variations of the original melody..this I like..

In this song I don't necessarily see a story (or have the iendurance to write one..I'm completely zapped), but I definately see an image; or moreso a landscape that is being panned over.

We are standing or at least veiwing from somewhere elevated, but not distanced from a forest, darkened by midnight, lit only with streams of like through the woods. The moon is only but a sliver, and the sky is not filled with clouds, but an ashy mist. As we pan through looking over the landscape (almost looking like an impressoinists painting), the trees, although hardly outlined, whine in the wind. And as the candlelit procession continues, we silently watch, and feel a since of being invited to just stay and watch a while.
To just stay..and watch a while.

I hope I got my image through...although it's great in my head, I feel, in a way, imagery illiterate right now..so hopefully you get what I'm saying >.<.

I'll have to look at that game sometime, and by the way, keep it up; not just because that's what people say at the end of a positive review, but because now it's evident that you will go somewhere with music..just as long as you keep it up.

MaestroRage responds:

Hello Magi! It has a while my good sir, I am glad to read a review from you!

Harmonies are a favorite of mine too. Though I love leading melodies, with the right harmonies, it just blows everything up scale after scale.

There was not meant to be much of a story. It is a very relaxing piece, rather then spend energy creating, it is a piece meant to make you reserve your energy. To return into a restful state. So it's natural that you don't really feel the desire to write a story, and I can understand it.

I did get your image, and enjoyed living it myself. Thanks for sharing!

we'll keep our fight Magi, thank you for the review, really! We're glad you liked it!

Wow...

It's hard to describe how this song hit me...it's onde of the greatest pieces i've have ever listened. The nostalgic air matches with the theme wonderfully...the flute, along with the strings really made that nostalgic atmosphere filled with beauty and art. The synchrony...the melody...everything smoothly and calmly blends into one perfect melody.

Congratulations to LadyArsenic and MaestroRage, you two deserves the greatest of the honors.

MaestroRage responds:

Thank you M0NK04! We are glad you enjoyed it! Though we cannot take full credit for the work *please see updated song description for more details*, it was a song we loved to work on.

We are glad it was able to give you a pleasant experience! Thank you for the review, we are glad you liked it!

MaestroRage responds:

It does get you sleepy. I sometime nodded off while working with it XD. One of the challenges of making peaceful tunes I suppose.

Thank you for the review, we are glad you liked it!

Very nice

This has a very soothing Celtic feel to it. Smooth looping is always nice, too.

You used actual instruments to perform this piece, right? Sounds like you did. If not, then that's one helluva great program you used.

This piece would be perfect for a part of a flash I'm currently working on. Is it okay if I use it? I'm going to give you credit, of course. I'm not some jackass who goes around plaigerizing people's works.

Thanks for sharing this great song!

MaestroRage responds:

Everything you hear here is a synth. Through time we get better at controlling the instruments to behave more like natural ones. Of course, the libraries we use are generally quite high grade too, so a huge portion of this goes to them.

You are more then welcome to use this for any project you deem fit! Best of luck on it!

You are welcome, thank you for the review, we're glad you liked it!
