even though it was taken from something your music always has that touch of home in it.....as i have said before one cannot play music without feeling it and that's why people can relate to your music. Instead of throwing peices of music into a song you make it all the way full of soul....

We've always thought that a song should be able to convey a feeling or emotion, to move it's listener. I mean, music is simply a means of conveying expression, and like all crafts, it should aim to move somebody with an experience.
I don't think it's corny at all. You've spoken of the very nature I believe all musicians should endow in their work. I feel bad for the musicians whom have lost their artistic way and produce generic crap. It just feels lousy when I hear a song which just had no heart in it, all formulated movements.
