I actually did watch his other movies today, I really liked the voting machine one, and how it got into the more technical details that you don't hear about very much.
I think someone else actually plugged Vlad before you did. That one almost made my list but for some reason I didn't... I gotta watch it again now. But when I saw it on your list I know I was like "Oh I already watched that one."
I'm not planning at the moment to have prizes for SERIES and ARTIST, but I'm gonna have a prize for GAMES since that was part of the original request. I got inspired to do the other two based on what I was seeing, but now I feel like the posts will be incomplete. I might just make the posts but request people suggest additionals just as discussion in the thread.
The games category was a continued eye-opener (I say that because I was already aware, but reminders are always good) about how many games are overlooked. A lot of the games people mentioned were submitted in the past month... Just imagine how many were missed in the past year! Games are harder to find because they score lower than movies, but our upcoming overhauls will address that.
I would like to see the general NG forums take more interest in lifting up the smaller submissions, which is why I'm making a personal commitment (which I'll likely forget any day now) to include a submission link in each of my forum posts from now on. More people should try; it's a fun way to stay aware of your NG surroundings and to discover and share the submissions that no one else will find.
