Well, since I talked so long about the welcome/farewell bit over on the saves list, I GOTTA talk about something here. How about this:

First off, look at them list stats. If you've never noticed them, they've been up there under the congrats section for a month or so now. Rub your eyes a couple times, and look again.

That's right. The Top 50 Blammers got MORE SAVES than blams in the past 5 days. Christmas flashes certainly helped, but December overall has been a great month for saviors. And apparently for blammers who don't mind getting a few protects (or a bunch) on the side, too. Good job all you dark auras. There may be hope for you yet (*cough*TURN TO THE NEUTRAL SIDE!*cough*).

Also... for the first time ever, I believe, there are two ties on the list. One between Yoink and lightning and one between vuorimies and Majin_MagnetMan. Just a coincidence and a matter of my own timing on making this list, but it's a neat accident to have happen.

And, while 7 rankups for a 5 day period on both lists (8 people total) isn't a bad figure, the amount of idle people on the two lists is simply amazing as of late. Granted, it's the holidays, people may be away (as I was, briefly), and additionally it's only been 5 days. The shorter the time between update, the more chance of more people being idle. But still.... it's running rampant. Ah well, we'll see how many of them come back in January, but to see people like stafffighter, courtday, Stormwarden, and so forth just as quiet as all the retired or semiretired people (ramagi, Mr Chuckles, Heretik, Gambit, Nostrant, Denvish, etc.) is a bit unsettling. Sort of a ghost town feeling.

And amazingly, despite all of the idleness... POXPOWER GOT 2 POINTS!?!!? Can you believe it, folks?! Does this mark a return of poxy to having no life?! We shall see. But I doubt it. Oh well. #;-}> Just get one more point, man. 13131 is a much better number than 13130.

Well, with the new update (crazily quick!), I'm 2044 away from the blam list (down by 218) and 1995 away from the save list (down by 169)... which isn't a great deal different. And I think F-Day had already passed by your previous update, so that won't be taken into account in the save change... while I'd still back myself to reach the blam list first, the save list won't be as far behind as we might have thought.

Of course, the big difference is that I don't even need to double my total to reach the blam list. I nearly need to treble my total to reach the save list.

Just curious - why do you bill it as the "Unofficial" top blammers list? Is that because it's not an official list (like the top 50 combined) or because you might be missing someone who should be included? If it's the latter, it won't be too long before the #50 on the blam list has more blam points than "annoying gap" on LockClock's list has combined, then you'd know that the top 50 is absolutely correct...
