We were referring to the question of someone ranked 2kish on BPs who was asking where on our lists he is. We were only referring to the one's we manually generate, not the one's that are supplied by NG =P

But it is interesting to think how those lists also interplay with you, me, and NGling's lists.

The only ordering I'm not sure on the expanded list I posted up there is whether top 50 combined should be between top 50 blams and top 50 saves as I placed it, or actually above the top 50 saves.

An argument can be made, after all, that for people like toocool, it's easier to make the top 50 saves than the combined, but then again, there's not many people like toocool (2, to be exact... him, and Afterburner #;-}>).

And the changes in it is very slow. Wouldn't require more than a weekly update, as the max is 70 exp per week. It has boundaries, instead of b/p, which is unlimited (if you do not sit around your comp for 7*24 hours).
And many of the top exp ppl aren't much into NG anyway.

Um... all lightning meant was that I should include the Top 50 Popularity list in that ranking I made of the easiest to toughest lists to get on, that's all.

I would say that it is the easiest one to get on, actually. Dogma's list needs 1500 blams and saves, but there are people with 30 exp and 0 blams and saves on the top 50 popularity.

You need either: lots of (preferably controversial and/or female-seeming posts, to become a mod, or to submit a buncha flash... not really that hard if it's all that motivates you. I seem to recall that SpeedyPac got himself up to #1, even. Getting on the top 50 is much easier than getting to #1. Just look at Sherbert...

As I said before, for some users (i.e. Toocool and Afterburner), who don't want to get on the top 50 blammers, and never will unless they change their voting strategies and lower their save/blam ratios drastically, yes, that ordering doesn't hold true.

But for the average user, who I'd say has at least 60 blams for every 40 protects, say, it's easier to get onto the top 50 blammers list than the top 50 combined, yes.

But if you save more than average, then it's not. And if you blam more than average, then it's SUPER easier to get onto it.

And the reverse is true for the top 50 saves list.

Even though I didn't make the list until I was on the top 50 combined list, I know I made the top 50 saves list before the combined, so... the above ranking doesn't even hold true for me.

But we saviors are the rare type on NG. And thus most "rules" don't hold true for us.

Anyway ... I'd just need to reach the blammers list and pray that in many years my futur sons could get my account to the top 50 exp =P

Actually, it was both. We originally planned to only go to Japan but going to China too only cost us a few hundred extra, so we figured, why the hell not? It turned out to be a little more expensive than we thought it would be but it was still worth it. I actually travel quite a bit. Next spring, I'm going to Spain for two weeks...

Spancker WASN'T fine, as it turned out. As I've been warning him ever since he got on this list, he'll be back off it and complaining that he's not on it if he doesn't move his butt. Sadly, his "short" absence from NG has resulted in 0 blams and 0 protects since my last update, and not only has FlameClock jumped way over his head in blams, but biteme is about to pass him (5 blams behind when I pulled his stats). If things keep going this way, biteme will be the next person on the top 50 blams, and spancker is going to face a harder and harder time of getting back on than he did of GETTING on in the first place! Egad.

Anyway, FlameClock's in 50, but unless biteme can turn on the heat before FlameClock can move up to 49, he doesn't have much to worry about with spancker temporarily dead.

Well, as I said before, not many rankups. All the people moving on and off the two lists, however, have reduced the number of people on BOTH lists from 37 to 36 (spancker and drimarki lose their ***s, but fortunately Denvish gains his, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been). As I mentioned over in the other list, a neat bit of info I noticed while pulling stats is that DrMSM's popularity rank is 999 and DarkStirFry's popularity rank is 1004, just 5 apart! Woot.

D0GMA was active on this list as well, jumping over poxpower and helldoll for #14

Captain Bob gained on this list, jumping over chaotic and XkwiziT for #20, similar to leeboy's jump on the other one

Syme moved up slightly, but enough to stay ahead of the pack of wolves behind her, sliding to #27

stafffighter also slid up one, to #28

but Denvish MASSIVELY JUMPED over several people, moving from 36 to #30

and courtday FREAKIN' GRAVITY BOOTED past almost 10 people, from 40 to #31

Other movement occurred, but let's face it, after Denvish and courtday, the rest looked like they were standing still...

Dogma handled it, but you'll notice I also mentioned you being in 52 (well, I didn't say it outright, but I mentioned that you were 5 points behind Spancker, and Spancker's now 51, so it doesn't take much to put 2 and 2 together).

Anyway, why were you so sure you weren't in the top 50 blammers yet?

If it hadn't been for FlameClock speeding onto the list, and if I'd taken the stats just a bit later, you might have passed Spancker yourself to enter today's update at #50. :::shrugs:::
