It seems that the examples in the platformer tutorial is messed up. The character will fall through the terrain.

Found some :)
In the AS3 Custom Cursor tutorial it skips the second page. I also noticed if you hit back on the first page of a tutorial it brings you to another tutorial.

Wow, 3.94/5 and 9.7/10! It's doing great! I might look for more bugs later but I am done for now.

P.S. When(if at all) do you plan to start the next?

Response to The Tutorial Collab '07 2008-04-12 19:13:12

The platform part is weird, the ball goes right through the terrain.

Yeah, i can't work that one out, paranoia has coded in the movieclip, which i'm not used too, so it could take a while.

VOTED 5! And will do everyday. Although on my piece (Right Click Menu 2) on the first part it should have this script in the frame...

root_cm = new ContextMenu();
root_cm.hideBuiltInItems();
_root.menu = root_cm;
root_cm.customItems.push(new ContextMenuItem("My Site", itemHandler));
function itemHandler(obj:Object, item:ContextMenuItem) {
getURL("http://www.yoursite.com/", "_blank");
}

Oops! Not 'yoursite.com' http://sickstick.newgrounds.com/

Cheers! ;D

I can put it up on my website for a few days, not permanantly though... :)

I've got 300GB bandwidth free, how much do you need?

They used to call me souled...

You're probably best putting the music somewhere in the file, otherwise the bandwidth costs will be crippling.

I can't, if i add music to the file, it pushes it over the 10mb limit, even when it's at the lowest quality. I uploaded it onto putfile for now, no doubt it'll be down within a few weeks though.

UPDATE

I'm adding an donate button to the collabs menu, since we didn't get sponsorship. All funds will go towards a site, or if we make enough, i'll distribute it between the authors :). Sound alright with everyone?

Well you've got putfile for now then.... I can't hold them permanently.

Open an account at freewebs.com. Use it as a filehost.

You do realise that if any more than 12,000 people watch it, that 300GB bandwidth limit is gone over, right?

Just e-mail an admin to raise the file size limit for you.

I found this review, dont feel liek checking it out.

I was trying to do the pong thing, but on line 39, it showed up as a syntax error. I rechecked everything, but still can't find the problem...but, other than that, it was a nice system! My flash said that there were 2 errors in line 39.
