I do that ALL the time.. but it's on paper, so it's useless here. When I'm MS Painting.. I'll usually scrap something if it's turning out horribly.

well at least you can draw on mspaint my mouse is really jumpy and the ball gets stuck into the top not spining because it doesn't hit the ground so you have to bang it onto the desk. we need a laser mouse but we have a vista so our old one dosent work and some of the ones you buy at the store don't either.

Try taking the ball out of your mouse and scratching the dirt off of the wheels inside it.
I use a tablet to draw but I have the same problem with my mouse from time to time.

Draw the line art, ctrl+a, ctrl+c. Drew a box and copied it a bunch of times, coloured in the lines, and then ctrl+v'd the lineart back on top, so the line art is over the excess, and i just remove whatever's outside. Heaps easy.
