I was trying to be a badass and make a Pandora battery myself for my PSP, after an hour of struggling to open the battery, I did it and broke a small metal piece that rotates the motherboard(?) of the battery. I did everything right except that fucking mistake.

Now I have to go out and buy a new battery. I might not even bother. I bought a FAKE memory stick a few months back and it just died out on me too.

Zplinteh - Its free. All my DS' have broken hinges and dead top screens. An emulator is not worth the trouble. It's ok I understand.

The DS2 is in production since DS was released. And the guy who suggested all the ideas about DS is now MANAGING DS2. So all his ideas that didn't get put in that were good ARE gonna be used in some form.

After all those years and now this, they had better make it good.
It does, frankly, look prettty awesome from that video. The physics, like when the door came down on that thing and it bent around it, was quite impressive, and the AI looks pretty awesome.

Are you kidding me? That looks pretty terrible. It's a generic FPS with sub par graphics. After seeing that, I think it's good 3DRealms shut down. If that's what the game was going to look like, better for them never to release it.

Seriously doubt it. The basis for their argument is that Duke Nukem 3D is on Xbox Live. Well, the game came out on Live well before there was any sort of talk about 3D Realms shutting down. As I understand it, 2K wasn't planning on cutting off development funds until just recently, since 3D Realms had a meeting with 2K where 2K presumably decided they wanted to cut the project. In other words, the decision to release on Live occurred well before Microsoft having any sort of opportunity to buy 3D Realms.

Secondly, why would Microsoft want to get involved with such a nightmarish project? Seems like too big of a risk to secure exclusivity of a franchise that hasn't had a new entry in forever.

The game is shit and if MS wanted exclusivity they could have just dished out money instead of buying the company. MS has been cutting its in house anyway in exchange for just paying 3rd party for exclusives.
