I think there's 2 copies; one on a Sony server in some building attached to your PSN, and one on your hard drive (so that the game can access it even when offline). The Trophy data would come from the server.

What I'm wondering about, is what if I switch the hard drives (physically replace my some one else's hard drive with mine) or just uploaded my data, then sign in as my PSN; wouldn't that then give the other person the Trophies?

But each PSN would have a the system number logged with it, so it signed on on another system, it would recognize the system switch and not upload the Trophies.

I think it's 'shopped. I mean, generally, with pictures taken of a TV screen, the image comes out a little blurry and with lines on it (even on an LCD HDTV at 1080p). That image is way too clear for it to be real.

All that would take is photoshopping a picture of the PS store and then viewing it on your tv. I don't think it would be too hard to fake. Plus, we need to get more PS1 games on the store before we start thinking of PS2 games. If the original Metal Gear Solid isn't released on the store, I wouldn't put much hope in the second one being released. That's one thing Sony is kind of failing at. They need to give us way more PS1 games.

Like I said, MGS1 is on the japanese store, so it will eventually make its way here I'm sure.

even if it doesn't, just buy a PSN card off ebay (3,000 yen) and create a japanese PSN account, (search youtube for videos on how to do this) and bam there you go, all the PS1 games earlier then the rest.

No, Criterion is just the only smart developer out there. They linked your stuff to your PSN ID since they're psychic. I thought all games did this, but I guess not. Warhawk locks your stats to your PSN ID too though, so I suspect Warhawk's will be retroactive too.

I just want to see SOCOM at e3, they just reached Alpha stage hopefully they get to beta soon so I can play it.

Also its release date has been pushed back from Sept. 16 to Oct. 14.

Right, but that's not why they're retroactive. They're retroactive because Criterion had the foresight to realize they should link the gamesaves to your PSN ID, making it so its impossible to get credit from someone else's save. I doubt DMC4 or Turok will be retroactive, and they had accomplishments just like Burnout did.

Since Warhawk is an online only game, I have to imagine that it links it to your PSN ID as well, since your stats are not stored on the hard drive.

So my question is... if I have already started my big boss run, but I wait to finish it until after MGS4 gets trophy support, would I get the trophy or have to do it again?

Also, anyone gotten the Big Boss emblem yet? That first part in act 2 was a real bitch. I was stuck on it for three hours.
