yep that must have been a few day's or the same day i became #50 =]

btw how did you do that? useing the linktag didn't work for me...

The link you first pasted was to http://web.archive.org/web/20030414021210/http://www.newgrounds.com/users_p
rotect_blam.html

but when you posted that, it cut it into two lines for some reason (or maybe you did by accident), yielding:

http://web.archive.org/web/20030414021210/http://www.newgrounds.com/users_p
rotect_blam.html

see how the "rotect_blam.html" part is on a separate line? That's how it always looked to us.

Then when you made your "LINKY" to it or whatever, you must have just used the top line, because DOGMA was trying to go to:

http://web.archive.org/web/20030414021210/newgrounds.com/users_p

see? the end of the html file is missing, it got clipped earlier and you didn't notice.

X seems to have fixed it, though, so no biggie....

Ah yes, indeed. see? NG gets confused because the URL has two "http://"s in it, and it thinks the URL is done when it's not. So it doesn't bother trying to keep it all together in one piece. X had to override that by putting it in A tags, no doubt.

Anyway, I meant to respond to that e-mail of yours and tell you that yeah, I'd checked out that archive site. Neat stuff, man, thanks for linking to it in level up!, I didn't miss it the first time. Just got distracted by all the member vote e-mails.

I tryed doing it with only one http:// didn't work. Then with a tag's and that also didn't work.

um... well, the archive site seems to archive things by putting them on their site with the complete URL of the archived page AFTER the URL of their site.

IOW... http:// their site / folder / whatever / http:// NG / top 50 list.html

Both http://s are important. What X did was to put the whole thing, intact, into [a href="..."] [/a] so it would work fine.

Dude, I was just diagramming the URL that YOU gave us worked, man. If you can do it more ways than one, how was I supposed to know from seeing that one URL?

THAT thread? You mean this one?

I dunno, man. Maybe when I get to 32,000 or so.

You've got 3,702 saves right now, so... I'd expect you've made it, but I didn't compare you to the #50 spot. If you want to find out on your own, just look at the profiles of #45-50, and see if you're ahead of one or more than them. It's possible someone else passed them as well, but if you've jumped over more than 2 or 3, chances are good that you'll be on this next update.

Anywho, I was hoping these would both die until my next update, but that seems impossible. #;-}> Carry on.

Not on your end, no. You'd have to pull up profiles of everyone along the way to find out for sure. At my stat pull on Saturday you were 153rd, but that's likely changed (not much, but changed).

I checked back at the list and gort real excited, because I thought I might be on it next time, because i've got ~3000 blams, or at least I might be on it soon, and then I remembered... This is the protectipon list...

so THAT made me feel stupid.

~shrug~ no biggie. There are worse mistakes to make lol

When you check the blammers list, I posted some numbers on page 22. They are based on the stat pull from Saturday, but they should at least give you an idea who you are chasing after and how much you need.

nifty. Those'll be an aid to me when it comes to update these mofos.

That, BTW, will be happening sooner than any of the other list updates with the possible exception of a 7.50+ VP update.

Quad is low priority right now, VP list has been updated many times in the past month... this is approaching 6 weeks with no updates. So expect to see updates of these somewhat soon. I'm going to be busy this weekend, though, so if it hasn't happened by Thursday night, don't expect to see it for several more days after that.

LOL! Dude... Dogma doesn't update the top 500+ b/p list every freaking morning, does she? Well then, methinks you misinterpreted "this morning's stat pull."

Dogma just happened to be working on a full update of that list on a Saturday morning and thus sorted the list for just saves and just blams and posted them to my topics to help calm down the impatient people who wanna be on the list soon. It ain't gonna happen EVERY morning.
