Beh. You're desperate for listage, though. If I lost 500 overall points, I'd barely drop below 26,000. I'm in no danger of being passed by people nor would that even make me go back down to Lt General.

Of course, I'd rather trade 1000 blams for 1000 saves, but I was trying to make a point of how much I wish the good stuff that'd been in the portal around Christmas would have continued all the way through January.

DANGER ZONE:

Well, I correctly predicted Impetus would next enter the list, but I warned Herne when I should have warned courtday, it seems (courtday was #48 at the time, and I didn't know he still wouldn't be back from his vacation from b/ping). So there ya go. This time... it's hard to predict. The bottom of the list is around 3350 now, and there are about 6 people, many of whom are on the blam list, with between 3000 and 3100 saves. Any of these people could EASILY make the list with some hardcore saving. But protects are quite rare right now, so it's understandable why none of them have made much progress in the save area lately. Sadly, Denvish is going to be the victim in this case. The possible bumpers of Denvish are: Syme, nimmer, Mielipuolimieli, merc_insanity, KornFreaker, and Impetus. FREE FOR ALL TIME!

Aye, I didn't seem to make much progress in catching either list myself. I dunno, in the combined list, I keep getting knocked back to #99. Most annoying.

I knew you'd move up eventually, man. And yeah, Joe's been moving a BIT more than usual recently, but you can take 'im!

Speaking of moving up... I think I'll be passing RyoHahn for #3 on this list in a month or two. Depends on how many saves I can start getting. Let's hope for a better portal sooner rather than later.

On the blamlist, I'm going to be moving from 8 to #7 very soon. Less than 100 blams away. I shoulda waited a couple days to update. Ah well. #;-}> I might actually jump to #6 if I don't update for a couple weeks.

Well, the problem is that there are almost no saves at the moment..as you said, it's a big problem :) I've gone far with the blams in the last days....but saves...huh

indeed they are. There's just a couple dozen saves difference between you and the other few people down around #50. Very very tight. And like I said, so many people are within 300 of the list right now, but all are moving slowly. You should be safe.

what would be the point of that? Anyone can just go to the top 50 right now and find out what rank people are at at the time of the update. O_o

The reason it's listed there, the reason I take the time to do it (it does take time... I often have to go back in my top 50 list archive to find out what rank spot on the list someone was at when they ranked up)....

anyway, the reason is that some people like to know what # of the rank they were. I'll be the 6th EGSC, for instance. But I'll be passing RyoHahn soon afterwards, and I'll move to #5. If I do an update then, I'll be #5 on the top 50 list, but... I don't care about that, the point is that I was the 6th person to GET to 30,000.

so yes... all those numbers are the rank people were at WHEN they hit the rank I'm congratulating them for. You were behind helldoll when you ranked up, so that's why I said you were the 27th Captain, even though you're ranked #26 now. Okay, that should cover it. #;-}>

CTTcrew_l2edfoX, who used to be so active. Over half a year ago, that is. I do remember well when he broke onto this list (and the main top 50) and moved up quite quickly. He never managed to get on the blam list, and completely retired from pointgathering, however.
HernetheHunter, who has risen to this list and fallen off twice now. I hope to see him again, but with the amount of new movers making this list and threatening to make it soon, it may be awhile.
ImportRacer666, who never got enough of a stronghold, it seems. He was part of a large pack of people on this list but not on the combined b/p list from awhile back. That group is all gone now.

DANGER ZONE:

With one dormant and two slow-moving people off the list, there are a few people who still need to be worried. Denvish, despite his recent reactivation, is hanging at the 50 spot right now, and Spancker is next up for falling off the list (probably first if Denvish gets some more saves). Either of the two could be knocked off by KWAS71KCK, KoRnFreakeR, or nimmer. Even LockClock is a threat to enter this list. In which case Mystboy and bmxgamer better be careful as well if all four make the list soon. The freeforall I predicted, however, seems to be quieting down a bit after the flurry of activity.

Amazing, amazing times. If the fact that we have 3 pairs of people swapping on and off the list weren't enough to dizzy your mind... the simple fact that 21 people--almost HALF the list--ranked up in the past 3 weeks should do so. I fear this will never (barring me taking over a month to update this) happen again, however, as the amount of low-point rankups is dwindling for all the people on any of the three lists. The 1000 rankup ranges are now off the combined b/p list for good, and the 1500s will begin to fall off, leaving the 2000s as the primary rankup range for any of the three top 50 lists.

Well, I wouldn't say the ENTIRE top 10 is stuck.

I'm still at #4 for now, but as soon as I hit EGSC, I will have passed RyoHahn in saves, as well. And from there, ramagi won't be too hard to pass in saves...

fixit is gonna be a challenge to catch, but I think I can actually pass him in saves, at least. No way could I catch him in blams OR total points, even if I wanted to. #;-}>

Anywho, you can enter the top 10 fairly easily. I mean, Joe is moving upwards some, but he's not exactly teh Save Monster. Just keep at it, and maybe by my next update (in a couple weeks, after I've hit EGSC) you'll be ahead of him in saves! Keep those 2, 3, 4, and 5 buttons workin'. #;-}>

Egad! How could you forget about THIS list of all lists.

If you forgot I ran a Blam list as well, it'd be one thing, I only started that in July.

But this list... I started it in March 2003, and uploaded it here a month or so later. It's nearing its year anniversay. It is one of teh longest user-run lists on teh NG!!! (sob)

Difficult when I'm not at home for 80% of the weekdays... bloody work. Got 2 weeks holiday abroad with no internet access in March too, so unless I quit work when I get back and become a full-time lazy ass again, I doubt I'll be on this one. At least I'm reasonably safe on the Blammers list.
