Then how do you explain the fact that you got knocked off the top 50 protectors list BEFORE you went on vacation? Heh... don't worry about it. Just rack up a few more and you'll be set. Skum001 hasn't gotten any points in months, for one thing.

Once I made the list, I just go to everyone's profile who's on it (not everyday silly, maybe twice a week tops), update the numbers in an excel file, and then reorder the list with cut and insert if necessary and I have a new order. My excel file has much more info than I pasted here (protect rank, name, protects, blams, total points, blam/protect rank from the top50 list (or profile if the person isn't on the list right now), rank level # (i.e. 14 for sergeant major), and rank name, with a bit of a colour code.

I'm the highest person below a Praporshchik on the protect list. :::nods:::

Nope. Here's an easy way to get an idea of how good your blam number is, though. If you're on both the top 50 list and my top 50 protectors list, look at the numbers. I'm 26 on the top 50, for instance, and 12 on the protectors... so... I could take a wild guess from that and say my blam rank is probably around 26 + 26-12 = 40.

Similarly, if you're 40 on the top 50 list but only 50 on my protectors list, you might be around 40 - 50-40 = 30 or so.

The reason I made the list in the first place is that I have way more protects than most people do, and more protects than blams, so I wanted to see how I stacked up against all those people with nearly 10,000 blams but very little protects. Clearly, pretty well, when it comes to protects. I'll be passing Nemesis pretty soon, and he's #3 on the overall top 50. :::nods:::

Not really. After Ramagi and then RyoHahn, it's all different. And besides, I'm ranked #11 now, I believe (just passed TheJoe), but on the top50 I'm #24. That's quite a difference, IMO.

I got that for the update of his list, but what if he could have asked Wade or Liljim for an actual list or something from the NG database? That's possible, you know. Lot less time wasted that way, but I guess if he's bored, he can do whatever the hell he wants he click on as many profiles as he can.

I went through all 50 profiles, I put them in the excel file, reordered based on saves instead of total points... I also looked at profiles of people who HAD been on the top 50 but had been knocked off to see if any of them should be in the top 50 saviors. And whenever I noticed someone with around 2000 saves on the BBS, I made a shortcut to their profile. Since they're not on the top 50 list, I have to have shortcuts so I can find them again to reupdate their saves.

It really didn't take all that long, and yes, I was bored that day. heh. Updating it takes a lot less time than the original creation though, yes.

In any event, your comment doesn't make sense. Saves and blams take the same amount of time to get, so why would only the top 50 saviors need a life? Perhaps you were making a misguided attempt at a slam on the time wasted by people on the top 50 combined list, this list, and hell, the top 50 blammers list, which doesn't exist to my knowledge. In any event, it didn't work, pal. Work on your spelling, too (mostly referring to your other post in the blam/protect thread... did you say shit in that post or did you MEAN to say "sits"? Eh... the world may never know).

I never rally pay much attention to number of blams or saves..Maybe cause no matter which way you make the list I am at the top. In about 300+ blams I will have more blams than total points for all but one person.
I guess I try to catch HAQnSPITT total points with only my saves. See I have motivation.
