So I managed to get The Invasion for £7.99, alot cheaper than I was expecting. By looking at the box I don't like the look of the animated sections, but I'll have to see how they work before I decided wether to hate it or not.

Just watched The Invasion. The animated sections were ok, but a bit shodily done in places, i've seen smoother animation on Newgrounds, i'd expect better from the BBC. Aside from that, great episode.

it might have been slapped together just for the DVD, and BBC knows that people will still buy it, whether teh animation sucks or not

I saw Torchwood last night. Some really weird stuff there, like the ending with the photo in perticular. Next weeks looks really great. I think it should get the guy, asian woman and butler guy more involved. They've seemed a bit like background fillers to me, even whatshisface after he had his cyberwoman episode.

Owen had an episode that focused a lot on him, the one with the rape under the bridge, and Ianto had, as you said, Cyberwoman. I'd expect Tosh will get one soon.

Torchwood is starting to annoy me.

At first it was only the excesive bird's eye view shots of Cardiff that annoyed me. Ok, I get it, Cardiff isn't a shit hole, point made. But now there's more and more bits that irritate me.

Like the last episode where they had these lingering shots on the Torchwood-mobile and it's fancy bumps and engravings. They were good shots but they were way to blatent. It was so obvious that they needed to justify spending the money on pimping out that van.
