Well, what it would do is list when the -Day was. It would go like "Batman Day - 5/23" and then the Portal will have a lot more protection against spam and rule-breaking submissions if we have more people to help prevent it. There would be no congregation of what to vote and what submission, but this way it isn't a bunch of people 5-ing anything that comes through.

Well, yesterday I didn't have so much time to vote... I didn't get as much B/P point as I would like to... but... I hope to change that today... I got to 1000 blams today... & I'm very happy about that, XD...

Congratulations, if it was back in the old days, you would have about 2,000-3,000 Blams before you got 1,000 Saves.

Agreed, this system is a step backwards from what we used to have. The skin system should allow us to link the flash viewing up to the vote panel, so when you reach the end, you can trigger the vote panel. In the meantime, you should be encouraged to leave feedback

That is a problem. But not only is Tom an Admin, but he also runs the site. That means he's the CEO of this site; he has to be the one saying "we should get rid of this" or "we should do this, to make the site better". Tom is the face of the company, and his, and only his, give you an idea of what this site is all about.

Wade should take a much larger, more visible role on Newgrounds and be Tom's HAMMER, while Tom can be the smiling face of NG.

Wade is already the hammer; most fear him with his ability to take pictures in such high resolution. But Wade seems more like the BBS hammer, over the site hammer.

The current system is a step backwards, I whole heartedly agree. Yeah, if they had to wait until the end of the movie to vote, that would be great. The only problem is a Flash that loops at the end. I think you should have to wait like thirty seconds to a minute after the Flash fully loads before you can trigger the vote panel.

I think that he is voting fair, because in this day and age, it's near impossible to get any blam points, and my saves have always been higher than my blams.

As TheThing said the portal is drastically different now and it's harder out there, I at best sometimes maintain a 50% relation between my blams and saves a day.

Wow, was it just a blank screen? I've seen a few blank flashes and they all have been blammed. I've never seen one of them pass.

I think it got blammed. By the time I got to it, it had 264 views, so I figured that it would pass. But aldlv brings up the original, and it begs the question: are NGers really that desperate for a quick save that they would give a 2+ to a fucking WHITE SCREEN?!

Actually, it is a B/P club: the Elite Guard Barracks is a group dedicated to voting fairly in the Portal, with no biases or mass voting. While that's not all we do, it is the core of our activity.

To join you must be of Private rank or higher (2500+ B/P), so yeah, you're not qualified for the Barracks yet. However, once you reach Security Guard you can apply at the NGPD.

Incidentally, Sergeant EagleRock has gotten a few more B/P since that first post...we all have, heh...

I have Tried but I think you cannot vote twice for an Uj, I always stay until midnight and I have tried to vote again, on the submission but it doesn't work... They think about it... You can only vote again to the submission from yesterday on the Uj, until it PASSES Judgment... sir...

I highly doubt. Normally, some one would file swap to a blank screen. And no one reviewed it because it didn't deserve to be reviewed, and there wasn't anything to review.

Yeah, especially since the "sequel", if you will, didn't pass, yet the original did. There is some hope left, if people are getting rid of shit like that.

Slashy is excitable today!

Pensacola got hit by four tornadoes today, one of which ripped up downtown (and was pretty impressive in terms of size and power). Outbreaks like that are rare around here...in fact, I can't think of a time when the region was multiple'd like that.

I'm a little tiffed that I didn't get to see any of them in person, but I still got to enjoy the wind and rain throughout the night/morning, so...it's still awesome.

I didn't get to B/P much as I was downloading installation for Counter-Strike: Source for around 10 hours yesterday. I just sat on my ass until 9:30 pm when my friends wanted to know if they could pick me up and we could go egging. Naturally I agreed, so we hit our vice-principal's house; he is a huge douche bag anyway.
