I got some news to say since its been a while since I posted or been at NG.
Next week (June 6, 2006 yes 6/6/06), I'm going to leave that states to head to Germany for the 2006 World Cup. I have tickets for 10 games (Which cost me a lot of money to get). I'm going to Germany for my summer trip and since the World Cup is going to be there, I rather go to the games instead of visiting the sites of Germany. Here are the games I'm going to watch:
Round 1:
1. Germany vs. Poland (Opening game) in Munich
2. Sweden vs. England in Cologne
3. Mexico vs. Iran in Nuremberg
4. USA vs. Italy in Kaiserslautern
5. Japan vs. Brazil in Dortmund
6. France vs. S. Korea in Leipzig
Round 2 & Finals:
7. Match 52 of the Round of the 16 (1st Place of Group D vs. 2nd Place of Group C) in Nuremberg
8. Match 59 of Quarter-finals (Winner of match 51 vs. Winner of match 52) in Gelsenkirchen
9. Match 62 of Semi-finals (Winner of match 59 vs. Winner of match 60) in Munich
10. Final game (Winner of match 61 vs. Winner of match 62) in Berlin

Anyways, I'm in the process of filling out my papers for the Canadian Armed Forces primary reserve (think National Guard/part-time soldier).
I'll be going in as a Medical Technician (more commonly known as a Medic). It should be fun. ^_^

Also the only time two democracies went to war with each other directly was in WW II when Britain declared war on Finland for attack the USSR. And not one shot was fired between them at each other.

Anyway in the First World War in 1914 soldiers were given opium as well as tobacco but the army put astop to it as high soldiers aren't exactly special forces calibre.
Good morning from Germany!!! Right now it's Saturday and I'm at my hotel with my laptop at NG. I'm also here with my cousins who are also going to the games that I have posted a few days ago. What a game it was, Germany vs. Costa Rica. 4-2. The fans were extremely loud and rowdy. The next game that I will be attending is the Mexico vs. Iran game from Nuremburg (yes the city which the Nazis were taken for the Holocaust, now that's some war history for everyone) which is Monday here in Germany, Sunday in the states. So I will be taking a train from Munich to Nuremburg.
