As you all know, the 08's will be coming very soon. WE MUST INFORM THEM. To do this, I am setting up a new 2008 member adoption center. Yes, I know that "Adopt a noob" or whatever has been made. However, that one has become nearly obsolete, and when the '08 users come, they should see some place where they can get some help.
So mods, please don't lock it. The adoption centers are a good idea to help people, and the '08 users will need some help.
Here's the general idea: Noobs who need help come here, and they ask to be adopted. The adopters send them a PM telling the noob that they will help them. Be sure to tell the noob in this thread as well, so the same noob isn't selected twice.
The adopter must give them a general intro of everything in a PM. Then, he/she must answer any questions that the noob may have.
If an adopter is not being a very good one, the noob can say so here, and he/she will be given a new one.
TO THE NOOB:
Need help? Don't know what to do? Just ask to be adopted here. Your adopter will provide all of the info that you need. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
TO THE ADOPTER:
To become an adopter, you must ask here or send me a PM. I will look at various things, such as post quality, post frequency, grammar, and generally how helpful you are. If you meet the requirements, I'll send you a confirmation PM.
All the adopters will be kept on a regularly updated list.
Very good adopters will be selected by me to be able to recruit adopters, and keep track of everything.

When you feel your noob is alright to go on his own, or the noob says that he's good, you may release him. Please say so in this thread.
If an adopter wishes to resign, just send me a PM, and you'll be taken off the list.
So, let's get started. Obviously, there are no '08 users yet. But I am taking requests for adopters right now.
