45 player $1 NLHE, pays 7, finish: 8th
18 player $1.50 NLO8, pays 4, finish: 5th
18 player $1.50 NLHE, jam with A-K, run into rockets, have 40 chips left over, next hand get A-A, have them cracked by J-8 :-)

Do you use pokerstars? I'm going to deposit $50 into my account soon and start playing the small tables. So if you ever want to play some smallies, I'll be ready to clean our your pennies ;)

Tonight I played with some guys I didn't know. My friend plays with them every monday and he invited me to go. $10 entry fee, there was 8 of us, and I was 3rd eliminated. My friend got knocked out before me though, even after all he smack talk he did to me about how bad I am.

The hand I lost against was kind of garbage though. Big blind was 1,000. Everyone flopped until it was my turn. I had Ace/King unsuited, so I bet 1,000 (I had about 3,000 in chips.) Small blind flopped, the other guy checked, and the cards came out. I matched up my Ace, the other two cards were low numbers, both diamonds. I bet 1,500 after matching my Ace, since I had a high kicker he couldn't beat unless he had pocket aces. He took the bet and the turn came out. It wasn't anything special, but I decided to check it and he went all in. At that point I knew he had two diamonds or two aces. The aces I seriously doubted, and since I didn't have much chips left, I went for it. The river ended up being a diamond, he had 4 of diamonds and a 6 of diamonds and beat me with that flush :(

I definitely played well and I think anyone would have made the same calls I did during that hand. If he wasn't big blind he would have thrown those cards out immediately. I guess the only mistake I really made was not raising him before the flop. I probably should have raised him $1,000. OH WELL, I'LL GET 'EM NEXT TIME!

I just got done playing a 27 people play money tournament and placed 1st.

In about 30 minutes I'm going to play in a big freeroll tourny with around 6,000 entrants. The top 27 move on to round 2 with the other satellite winners for a chance to play for a $1,000 prize pool. I seriously doubt I'll win any money, but it'd be nice to place top 27 and get into round 2.

I didn't do so great in my big tourny. I was number #199 eliminated. Out of 6,000 that isn't too bad. There are still more big tournaments though. One coming up in two hours with a max entry of 4,000 people. Like the other tourny, this is a satellite and the top 27 move on to round 2.

You guys that use Pokerstars should check it out. The tourny number is 16314382. Registration starts in an hour.

Yeah I got the number wrong.

And Gooch, entering it is totally free. There will be 4,000 entries and the top 27 move on to round 2. In Round 2 you get to play for a $1,000 prize pool of real money. But you have to get past a lot of people to do that. BUUUUT, you have nothing to lose, because entering the tournament is completely free.

Yeah, I was eliminated at 401. The Hubble tourny I was in yesterday had 6,000 people and I made it to 199 before I was eliminated.

It doesn't really matter that I got busted though, because my friggin internet went down about 30 minutes afterwards. If I was still in the tournament I would have lost connection and that would have pissed me off a little. My internet goes down almost everyday, especially around early morning. One of these days I'll be playing for real money and it'll happen.

It's doable. I've won through to round 2 before, when it was just the top 9 moving on. And this was limit seven card stud, probably my worst game. Apart from 7 stud high/low.

I'm playing the $1 pot limit hold'em on Pokerstars in ten minutes.

Shouldn't have bothered. Get nothing but bus tickets for five levels (best hands were A-9, K-Q and 6-6), then find A-Q, jam and get two donk calls with Q-T and 2-2 who hit a flush and trips respectively. Bollocks.

Oh yes. 7 paid, 9 left, I jam with Q-Q and get two callers, flop J-9-4, they both check, turn a beautiful Q, one of the donks bets his K-Q and the other fold. River 10. Bad beat!

Nice. Was doing nicely in a tourney just now until some guy hit with his aces. He was behind until the river against my trips. Arse.

Man, I haven't played PokerStars in like two months. With all this upcoming free time on my hands, I think i'll play many games, including PokerStars.
