Just a stupid thought, but I was thinking about making an Earthbound ROM Hack called PicoBound for Pico Day. I'm not quite sure if it will be done in time for the date, so I might have to think about it further. I've already got a few sprites made, and I'm thinking about rolling with it.
I am beyond excited to offically join! I wonder what I should do for this Pico day! I don’t think I ever joined a Pico day out of pure anxiety. Thanks again Tom Fulp! And congrats for Newgrounds for improving every day! Happy early Pico day!

Pico Day started in the forums as a day celebrating Pico but has become more of a Newgrounds Day, where the theme is to celebrate all the cool original characters you can find on NG.
To participate, create a movie, game, song or work of art celebrating something you love on Newgrounds. Upload it on May 1st and tag it with PicoDay2021.
As always, you may not use unlicensed commercial music, like songs from the radio. This is an ideal time to find music in the Audio Portal or from our royalty-free resources. Every song in the Audio Portal has info in the lower left column specifying if you are welcome to use it. Some musicians would even love to create an original piece for your movie or game!
Our advanced search options are handy for searching by song permissions and song length. For example here is music between 1:30-1:40 in length that has a CC license allowing commercial use.
There are also artists who don't choose a CC license allowing commercial use but do check our exception box for stuff that is ok to use in web-based movies and games. You can also set date ranges to only browse more recent music, as well as browsing by genres and tags.
Similarly, please don't use audio from film / television / etc..

just submit art or anything else relating to the main newgrounds mascots (i.e. tankmen, pico, alien hominid, and some other modern characters like ENA and boyfriend)

It would be preferred to premier them on NG, to make the day special here.
Can one still participate if they're an artist who wasn't scouted yet? or does that not have any impact on the entry?
