I'm a pixel artist and a novice game dev, currently working on a game about two scientists siblings trying to save the world.

2013 is when I made an account but I watched and played a bunch of Newgrounds things when I was younger. Stuff like SMBZ and Fancy Pants.

TY FNF for reminding me this place existed. I was active back from like, 2011-2013 during high school...damn this is a trip.

newgrounds really helped develop my music production hobby. I was fascinated by @dimrain47’s music, B0UNC3, API, ParagonX9, etc

i met a lot of cool people on NG and met quite a few of you IrL! (London meetups, pico day parties).

there is so unbelievable amount of talent on here. As my music matured I’ve stopped uploading as frequently. I’ve stopped caring about internet listens or reviews. But now I have a few EP releases coming up and singles, with top DJ support with them playing my music all around the world.

its crazy to think I was just a dumb angsty teen who didn’t know he had autism, messing with torrented fruity loops trying to make a following on NG. I never achieved what I wanted to have on here but I can never forget the people and the memories that have helped me along the way!

Looking forward to catching up on some stuff I missed. Glad to see the progress you guys have made & continued support for flash development scene. I'm just a dumb young adult who loved to post here as a dumb young kid, not much to say!

i looked around the site every now and then, played some things watched some stuff, but i never really got into it

in 2018 i started drawing more and in 2020 i wanted to start sharing it with people

so i came to newgrounds, started posting stuff, but i still wasn't really there

it was like i existed adjacent to newgrounds, never really stepping into it

i've always wanted to but i could never really take that step on my own

but now, thanks to this thread, i'm going to try

Hey guys I was the original @Voltage, due to substance abuse and stupid choices I deleted my account out of frustration and general stupidity

I was a member in 2003, specifically 1/23/03, and made several animations + won my first award in 2015 with Saviors 2.

I have been regarded as the a madness combat admin from the early era of MC, even still I make contributions ala project nexus 2 (Cyber bandit gear and lasers, courtesy of Voltage Inc.). As such I pretend to say my old madness interactive mod is G-canon like Dash Rendar.

Well, I'm 31, and as much as I'd like one of those sweet cute epilogues I'm not really in that ballpark. The only thing I could hope for is to be regarded as the Terry Davis of the game developer world, traveling and writing and trying to build something monolithic by myself with no real promise of fortune.

I am beargreen I have had many years of absence after I left Newgrounds when I was young after first being first introduced to it then came back after playing all the popular games. I saw week 7 of Friday Night Funkin' on Newgrounds so I joined again and I'm glad I did I get to play many of the old games I used to play and some of the new games on here like the remakes of Pico's school and his original games and the totally new games like well you know what I mean.

I've lurked on NG on and off since I was a teen. I was mainly watching animations, mainly Madness Combat and Salad Fingers, and sometimes played games. What pushed me to making a profile on the website years later was Tumblr titpocalypse and I needed a place where I could post NSFW I rarely draw lol. I like to draw (well duh), mainly fanart, take photos and write once in a blue moon.

Anyways, Hello, I'm iggykoop--formally known on here as Pelon1071--and came back to NG with the FNF Hype!

But I have used NG way before I had an account.

My earliest memory of Newgrounds was way back in elementary school. I remember a kid on the playground (because that's how information spread back in ye 'ol days) was like "Hey, check out this website, its got games and stuff"

So every time our class got to go to the computer lab, more and more kids went to Newgrounds and messed around

surprisingly NG was not blocked on our school's internet--well, that didn't last long--and it spread like wild fire.

I remember going back and keeping Tankmen open on a tab, do whatever I was doing, then tab back when teacher was not looking. I have fond memories of Tankmen, Skull kid, Super Mario 63, and divine intervention to name a few, I was probably way too young (well not probably, I was way too young for that content) but it was exciting! Until it was blocked by Admin-sama.

So we were grateful for all the people who re-uploaded their content to Youtube--lol.

I do feel a bit of guilt--not gonna lie--about abandoning my account since I made it back in 2015, and I kinda wish I had made an account sooner and been more active, but hey, here I am now! Better late then never, So sorry to my account for abandoning you for so long, I promise to never do it again. :)

Also I would like to take this time to Thank those who made all the flash games and animations that I watched as a kid, It's your work that inspired the new generation of Newgrounds creators that will one day inspire the next generation their of to be creative and make their own art. You guys are all awesome! Thank you! :)

I used to lurk NG around '09 when I was a kid; decided to make an account when I started getting serious about art again although I haven't begun the process of moving my stuff over here just yet.

I might get immediately tossed again, but hear me out:

I... am Phantassimo. I had an old handle, but I don't even remember it because I created it long ago, and since abandoned it. How long ago, you ask? Well, it was back when Newgrounds didn't have much of an Audio Portal, and their vetting process was a lot stricter. Before I was even allowed to post anything, I had to submit 2 or more creations, and they had to be approved. I was pretty young, and they must have been god-awful songs because they both got rejected, and I couldn't even be a Newgrounds "musician," just a user. I pretty much gave it up right there. I was a fragile kid at the time; easily discouraged.

But now, I am back from the dead. A Phantasm of sorts. Things have really changed. I've made a lot of music, but am too much of a perfectionist. Things get forgotten or tossed often. That mixed with a full-time job doesn't make for quick results. Now I'm trying to get over that hurdle, and feel more comfortable in my own skin, sharing my creations here or anywhere. Next step is to maybe get scouted.

That's my story.
