It had been 25C and sunny in the Weekend

ITs been windy and hot at the same time.

It was already 80°F up here at 6:30 in the morning. It was up over 110°F yesterday and I'm expecting it to be just as hot today.

It finally seems there will be rain and thunder this week.

It's really scorching, man... Yes, I like Summer but even then, I kinda wish it was a little colder right now...

About 50-60mm of precipitable water and CAPE of 2,000J/kg ahead of a cold front can generate some squall lines. Shear profile is not that impressive though, so not sure about the tornadoes. Might get some if lucky.

Well I've been in a tornado and I dont consider them lucky lol

SPC/NOAA did remove their 2% chance of tornadoes from the map, but they still have them highlighted for high winds risks.

Pretty wicked tornado/rotation signature on this cell here, and it is tornado warned.

Will be interested to see if NWS confirms it.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up napping through the initial bad part, and then riding my motorcycle up to the shop through the pouring rain last night to get it looked at today... because I planned this weeks ago and unfulfilled plans are awful.

Another round of heat coming my way.

Ohhh, so you live up north... haha!

Right now in Vegas and it was thunder and lighting and hail very close to it too was scary. Phones and pc shut down from power outage for a couple of hours

Every morning I wake up to weather alerts from the NWS about heat advisories and I'm just thinking, "It's 104 degrees. It hurts to breathe outside. My car's AC stays on full blast, I can't hear anyone riding with me, and my clothes are soaked in sweat everywhere I go.

I don't need a heat advisory warning.

This is the part of the summer where we start hoping for tropical storms--- but not hurricanes--- just to cool things off!
