I'm loving it so far... despite the somewhat lackluster launch line up. I held off on buying Assassin's Creed 4 on previous gen/PC just so I'd have something I care to play on PS4, cause nothing else in the launch line up really interested me.
But yeah, it's pretty awesome. And the PSN opens pretty much instantly, no lag, switching from game to the home screen of PS4 and back is completely seamless, and everything is really smooth and pain free.
Huge improvement over the PS3 IMO... Now to wait for the games I actually want to play.

Just paid off my PS4 Killzone bundle today. €440 well spent in my opinion, always been a big fan of Sony and the Killzone franchise. My Thursday midnight launch cant come quick enough!!
I have like 5 college assignments to get through before Thursday though so I can totally focus on playing PS4 at the weekend though.

I think someone might have already mentioned this game in the thread but oh well I guess I will mention it again. THIS game is so fucking addicting! The whole concept on this game is smartly done! The gameplay is arcade style set up and with amazing lights and effects makes this game feel fun and responsive. Anyone playing the living fuck out of this game like I am? Probably not.

Being graphically demanding doesn't mean jack, just look at Fez. Additionally being niche is absolutely no reason to put a game on an inferior console. Sony stops supporting the PS3 in 2015. Persona 5 comes out for the PS3 winter 2014. So what they're only going to sell it for a month and forget it forever? Being niche has nothing to do with it, thats just bad publishing and business practice. Of all the people that got fired or added to Atlus why the fuck is the marketer still working there?

Option 1: Put game only a small percentage of the market is interested in on a console with ~2 million owners
Option 2: Put it on a console with ~80 million owners
One of these is a much smarter decision than the other.

The one with 80 mil. is the better option. But if you're suggesting the PS3 has 80 mil, though that is a high number fact is that by 2014 most people will have a PS4 and at least on the PS4 the game can have an active community as opposed to a dead one. It'll just sink into obscurity just like Persona 4 did, until it gets a re-release on the Vita or something.
