Hey, as it turns out I'm really not going to be able to partake in the contest this year. No time. Sorry, hope the competition is fierce.
Aw, alright :(. *rubs you off from my list of 32 choices*

Does anyone know how many entries there have already been? You read my mind -- also, for comparison's sake, last year there were 110 auditions.
Too lazy to count them myself :3
Using Kirbyfemur's count on page 7... 182.
Oh and last year there was 111 auditions, not 110, silly :3.

Y'all should bump the number of participants from 32 to 64, or even 128 if there's enough entries. I'm sure the NGADM is well-recognized enough, and it'd be a very nice challenge for everyone. As a former NGADMer, I hope you consider it.
Yeah man, like the others said, that won't be easy. A feasible solution is to split the competition into two groups of 32 like we did in the 2009 NGADM and then pit the winners of each group against each other at the end. This would work if we had at least one other organiser and six other judges taking care of the other group (since - sorry to disappoint - we're actually not superhuman alien cyborg things, haha) but we don't have that.
But like I said, if there's anyone here who doesn't make it in and has enough initiative, feel free to set up a separate NGADM for the people who didn't make it in. It was a success last year, and this year it's a lot harder to get in with almost 200 auditions so it could be even more successful this time round.
